Thanks Coach Blais for everything you did for the hockey program at UND. I will miss his style of coaching, especially his gutsy decisions late in games to pull goalies with several minutes left in the game (2001 Nat. Championship).

Sandelin or Steve Johnson look to be top candidates at this point. Any other names out there? Who would be some candidates with no ties to UND?

It was just a joke. I'm a long time season ticket holder and have no problem with the rate increases. This issue seems to touch some peoples nerves and I thought I would just kind of add some levity to the situation. Sorry I wish I was a college student again, but those days have long passed. I did enjoy my economics and business classes enough to major in it.

You will have to become a member of the FSC to see these games. At least that is the way it seems they are running everything these days.

I would say that getting tickets in the new arena is a lot easier than getting tickets in the old arena, especially the last couple of years when the team was oustanding. Tickets to a specific series like the Minnesota one are always going to be tough to come by, but there are many games in the new arena when you can walk up to the window and get tickets on game night.

I have some friends who are on the waiting list and joined the FSC because they were told that would get them more preference points. So I believe you are correct airmail.

Ballard was a very solid player and I would have liked to see him stick around, just because I like to watch good players from other teams. Good luck to him

I don't second guess Sutter for benching Commie at all. Lydman was a regular D-man who got healthy and they put him back in the lineup, where he had an immediate impact in Game 5.

I would love to see Commie play, but wishing that another player gets hurt is not how I want to see him get in the lineup.

I saw a game in HD a couple weeks ago and thought it was unbelieveable. It really helps the average fan to be able to watch a game of hockey on tv.

I don't think Sutter was really impressed with his play in Game 4.

That is really bull. I don't want to have to walk more than 20 feet to the wellness center. Who wants to exercise any more than they have to.

Ouch 2:46 of ice time for Commie in game 4.

On Commodore's first shift, he was called for a penalty in front of the net. On his second shift of the night, he gave the puck up in his own end that led to a good scoring chance. He really didn't see the ice at all after that until the 3rd period.

Great to see Parise get some more recognition for his fantastic season.

It is truly amazing to see how big the game of poker has gotten. With all the tv shows dedicated to the game, it really shows the popularity of the game.
