The spring game makes me want the summer to pass by even that much more quicker. The game was very defensive and tough to watch at times, but it was stil enjoyable since we really don't have much to do now until the season starts.

Does the Fargodome have the capabilities to hold ice? If so, why don't they try and play anything there.

Detroit has had a problem getting in their groove the last two playoff years. They are a team that is very scary when they are rolling along, but until then, they are a vulnerable team that Calgary is capable of beating in a seven game series.

What were the attendance figures when UND played at NDSU? Oh yeah, I guess they were more than SDSU game. Fans come out and watch the Sioux and the Bison, whoever their opponent is, but the Sioux/Bison game is definitely the biggest draw for both.

Are they going to hollow out the marker so it can be moved around or are they going to leave the marker like it is? anyone know?

If I recall, I think the coaches usually nominate and vote on the Gatorade player of the year, at least that is how it was in the past. If you look at the past winners of that award, compared to both the Mr. and Ms. Basketball winners, you will see they are different a lot of the times.

I'm not a big NBA fan but I do follow the Twolves just because they are our home market team. I have seen them play in Fargo and Grand Forks and would rather have the chance to see a team like the Lakers play.

I definitely agree with you on that point. Seeing all the past/present UND and NDSU football players hoist the nickel above their heads is something we are going to miss, but I don't want to see the nickel and battle for it be cheapened by some stupid contest.

Just a question, no flaming intended. What kind of season will a UND player need to win the Hobey Baker? Just seems that voters find a way to justify giving it to a player one year and then totally voting with different credentials in mind the next. There have been many deserving candidates over the years, but only one winner from the Sioux. I like our 7 national championship banners hanging in the Ralph, i'm sure UMD would trade a few of their Hobeys for them.
