  1. I assume it is this one https://www.postbulletin.com/sports/football/6521502-Earning-his-shot-Caledonias-Casey-Schultz-gets-first-Division-I-football-offer
  2. Its a little irritating as I feel like we have been waiting for Rizzo forever! Going back to even before he committed to UND. Will be interesting to see where he lands, but I do wonder what made him change his mind so late.
  3. That would be cool
  4. Tough to argue with the assessment when you look at the team on paper. Hopefully some guys can step up and make it a decent game... IF the game is even played.
  5. There is one place I want to go eat in GF right now and that is the Parrots Cay for some stir fry and wings! So good! Makes me miss college!
  6. So Kevin Thomson leaves Sac St, any chance UND would go after him to give their youth a year in the system? Not sure we would even have a shot, or if he is hoping for a bigger school or what. Seems like it would make sense to try to get that experienced QB though. Thoughts?
  7. Nice!
  8. I'm very intrigued by Vaughn purely because of his size, strength and the hype from when he committed, but ultimately, I could care less who lines up under center as long as they get the job done. I hope the coaches don't over commit to anyone too early.
  9. The bundle is 100% worth it. I just dropped by cable tv service, because I have more than enough between hulu, disney + (which is great for more than just kids), espn+, netflix, prime, and I picked up youtube tv for a flat rate, which is great and gets me the local channels.
  10. Sorry to hear that, I guess I do recall hearing that the app wasn't available in some countries, which sucks. From a domestic standpoint, I am looking forward to normal streaming though. Pluto always froze or skipped for me, tough way to watch sports.
  11. This alone made the move the The Valley worth it!
  12. Not quite sure what you're talking about. I haven't seen much in the way of toxic comments recently. Seems like there was some confusion or what the issue was, and how it was or was not addressed, but I didn't see anything overly negative or putting people down ... did I miss something?
  13. ahh I see, then it seems like this should be over and done with. I saw the Chaves apology, so can this be over any done with? Not sure what is left to be said, or what more is needed at this point.
  14. I'm confused, so was she singing the whole song and that's the only part of that was clipped out, or was she specifically using that word on camera because she thought it was funny? Given the other snapchats that her and her friends would make up different versions of the word for fun every night, it seems like pure ignorance and should definitely be addressed. This is a prime example of youth and stupidity. I don't know this gal and have no clue what kind of person she is. Is she actually racist? Is she just ignorant and that unaware of her words in today's world? No clue! But make her address it. Stand her up in front of all of her athletes and peers and state what she did, why she did it, and actually apologize for it. Maybe that will get the point across to her, and everyone around her that it wasn't funny, and should be taken a little more seriously.
  15. I haven't seen the video, but is that really the line we are going to draw? It is okay for someone to listen to lyrics, but not sing with them because of a word? Its not like he went on a profanity laced rant of his own to put down or degrade anyone; at least that is not what I am getting from what has been said here. To that point I've probably said some words I haven't when I was younger and blasting some Dr. Dre, Jay-Z or Snoop in my car. Is it because I had any sort of context for the words I was using, No ... it was because there was a catchy song on the radio and I was singing to it like any other song. The posting crap on social media is a whole other issue in itself. Whether it is offensive or not, I do not understand why we have raised children to think that every second of there life needs to be public. I like to share some things online as well, sports posts, funny videos, pictures of family events on facebook with my friends ... but kids think ever single second of their lives deserves a post, tweet, vine or tik tok (whatever that is) and they find it all inconsequential. Not realizing that they end of making themselves often look like idiots and often post stuff that is only going to reflect poorly on them, now or in the future. Now I could be a little off base with this, given that I did not actually see the video, but I think the point still stands.
  16. ahhh, yeah that's no good.
  17. what was the issue?
  18. Seems almost inevitable at this point. Even if the stadiums do open to the public, which I highly doubt they will, I think a lot of fans will be staying away ... at least at first.
  19. I'm sure it will be strange for player to play in totally empty stadiums, but I cannot wait for football to start up again! Really hoping UND can surprise some people. Definitely some talent on this team but so much of the year will be dependent on young QB play. Maybe the kids will be ready, I guess we will see.
  20. and Trey Feeney will play at UND!
  21. It’s no thunder and lightning, but is it that much worse than last year? JJ didn’t do much, Cam could play but got hurt a lot Skokna was a true freshman, coming off of injury (did he keep his redshirt?) really hoping Mitchell can be the real deal. I think it comes down to more of scheming and o line execution. I guess we will see.
  22. I'm sorry, was Mckinney really a game changer? Skokna and Mitchell both had several offers, which doesn't mean anything except that they have plenty of potential. Skokna showed flashes as a true freshman, and I believe mitchell had some FBS offers. I guess we will see when the season starts, but I think the run game will be far more dependent on play calling and o line play than RB talent.
  23. Very disappointing, kid was starting to show some flashes, but he had not quite turned into what many might have hoped for. Not sure if that was because of how he played, or how he was being used. With that there is certainly more depth being built at that position... Otis, Skokna, Mitchell. Would have been nice to see what Cam could have done.
  24. Looks like a couple of guys from Shattuck.
  25. Its amazing how quickly things can change, when you think of how tough it was to watch this team for a few years. Props to Berry, I always liked the guy, but I certainly had my doubts and was getting impatient not only watching us lose, but watching how we were losing. That is partially the product of being spoiled rotten for about 15 years where we were in the NCAA tourney every time, and in the Frozen four almost half of the time. A true testament to the quality of work that Hakstol did, except for the NCAA title eluding him. I was always a Hak fan and would still love to see him back at UND in some capacity in the future. The guy bleeds green. I'll always wonder what could have been with this year, but I'm definitely excited to see what is possible over the next few years.
