  1. I missed that part, I was hoping it would be like my 6 year old's soccer team where they all line up and clap for the other team.
  2. NIce finish to the half. Take care of the ball in the second half and we'll be ok. Cut our turnovers in half in the first and we're winning this. At least the shooting has heated up.
  3. ugh this shooting is getting really ugly, reminiscent of the Summit Tourney Championship last year
  4. I'd like to see Shockey get some more deep opportunities.
  5. A few really dumb mistakes and turnovers so far though. DAE with a really questionable shot. Brady with the air ball, and what the heck was that last turnover.
  6. Sims moves well too.
  7. I was just going to say the same thing. Guy looks like the real deal.
  8. I'm not even a huge basketball person, but I'm really looking forward to this. Given Covid and the sports world even bein out of whack, I'm really pumped for some UND basketball (and hockey ... and football eventually). Really hoping this team can gel and surprise some people. I'm kind of a fair-weather fan with basketball, so hopefully they retain my interest all season. I certainly watched a ton of it the year the went dancing.
  9. nice!
  10. Sure, hope so! In today's world, I feel like this shouldn't even be a question with all of the streaming capabilities.
  11. What are the general thoughts on the game again Miami? I for one am pretty anxious for some UND sports. I haven't read anything overly impressive about Miami, but I'm not a basketball guy either. How do we matchup here?
  12. Could be!
  13. I would never tell a kid not to go for it, if he wants to play at the next level. Like you said, there is a level for everyone. Just wasn't as impressed with his film as I am by some others. Then again, I'm not football guru when it comes to recruiting and what to look for.
  14. Agreed, props to the kid for getting out their and trying to get himself some looks, but definitely didn't look like a D1 player.
  15. got it, makes sense.
  16. Is this speculation? I thought Joels tweet was regarding the Schmelzle kid. I don't see anything on this Julio guy, and none of the coaches follow him on twitter.
  17. Do we know how practices have been going? Any info on the team? I would think Miller would have a periodic write up, but I haven't see anything. 360 guys, we need football stuff!
  18. So much for that.
  19. With early signing day only around a month away, is anyone concerned by how quiet it has been? Clearly an abnormal year in terms of recruiting and playing, but kids still need to make plans for after they graduate. Why are we not hearing more here? Should we expect more surprises than usual on signing day? Is this supposed to be a smaller class, given what we have coming back? I wonder if we will see Damien Owens sign early. He was pretty clear in his commitment that if a bigger offer came, he was still open to hearing it. Really hope they are going hard after after both Ethan George and Mike Leatherdale. Thoughts anyone?
  20. Miller couldn't have put together an actual article?
  21. Just seems like Omaha would snatch the kid.
  22. Is anything happening with recruiting? It has been very quiet for a while, minus losing Koziol.
  23. The article is from July. Just stating that Rizzo asked for a release from his LOI, and is reopening his recruitment. It still list MM as a commit in the article ... just old news.
  24. Its admirable how much better you think you are than MM. Your intentions may be the opposite of him, but your attitude puts you right in the same camp.
  25. Agreed, the biggest and best thing anyone in this family can do at this point, is make clear they are sad and disappoint for MM, acknowledge that they understand why this happened, express some real sorrow for the victim and the fact that this ever took place, and hope for the best for both the victim, and their son/brother/relative going forward. Then again, if they were a family capable of all of this, the scenarios may never have become what they are today.
