This seems like it will be a very talented class, coming onto a very talented team.

I haven't been on Bisonville for a while, but I have to imagine they are blaming Oregon for starting the Corona Virus. Clearly the Ducks were scared of the Bison and their fans. Seems like some sound Fargo logic.

I'm not feeling all that sympathetic though.

If there was ever a season to make a jump, be competitive and build up the fan base, this will it. There are a lot of people starving for sports out there. Hockey is going to be really good. I am hoping football can surprise some folks, there is definitely some talent. Hoping for the same from basketball; i just don't know basketball as well. Definitely like the fact that others are getting excited about the potential. Is the team pretty much set then, or do we expect any more additions for depth?

I like to watch UND basketball as a casual fan, but I am not a basketball guy by any means. Have Sather's improvements been an upgrade from where we were? Do we have a realistic shot to be competitive next year? Are we setting up for the future? Just looking for general thoughts. Thanks!

Thats a bummer, but a position that we are pretty deep at I believe. A lot of young talent, and more coming in too.

The other part that I question, is how does the voting shake out? Is it weighted based on where you place and individual. In other works, by putting Jordan excessively low on his ballot it, it lowers he average ballot placement across the board; thus increasing the likelihood of who he picked to win it. For the record, I have no idea if this is who the voting system works, nor am I one for conspiracy theories. Just curious, since his ballot alone makes no sense. This was a two horse race, anyone who doesn't think so, shouldn't be voting. A strong case could have been made for either of the two, but that is about it.

If you're talking about Meloni, he is a Boston crackpot, and very bias against UND. He also put Leonard ahead of Kawaguchi because he said goals are important .... but vote the guy with like 6 goals number 1. Guch had more points than both, and more goals than Perunovich. Not going to argue with him picking Perunovich to be his number 1, but he trips over his own logic trying to support his ballot. I understand there are intangibles that don't show up on a stat line, but there is also regional bias that isn't explained by publishing your ballot.

Perunovich did have a great season, but I have a hard time believing the the award for best season was not swayed by the performance of previous seasons.

Not a fan of that mentality from a player though. Your a high end draft pick, with big talent coming in behind you, but you’ve got the experience. Earn your damn spot and solidify it. Elevate your game. Hoping he isn’t going somewhere in the NCHC.

I had actually already thought they had done that. I just hope the NFL draft isn't postponed; I've lost college hockey, the basketball tourney, NHL, MLB, even my Men's league hockey season an playoffs .... really hoping they don't take the draft away too!

I would think that by then, they would play in front of an empty stadium before cancelling the season. Not that I have anything to base that off of.

Totally agree, its nice to see. Like I said, hopefully they start landing some of them.
