With the move to the Big Sky Mr. Faison does not care anymore. UND no longer needs games.

I see I have been ripped apart by my prediction above. I am sticking by it, however. Bison fans are going to be in for a rude awakening when it comes to playoff attendance. $25/ticket is pretty expensive for the average fan, plus as I stated earlier everyone has to buy one now, even students. I tried out their ticket process and found 4 tickets all together in Section 2, Row 3 (40 yard line). With Thanksgiving coming up hardly anybody is going to buy any on Wed or Thurs so that leaves Friday and the walkup crowd on Saturday. Better be one hell of a walkup. We will see on Saturday night.

They had a lot of fun with our attendance in the playoffs (even though we had home playoff games every year for 6-7 years). Lets see how many people they get to show up when: - Everyone has to buy a ticket. Everyone. Students, season ticket holders, faculty, parents. - They can't have 2 for 1's at Stop and Go. - It is Thanksgiving Weekend = No Students - They can't lie about there attendance because season tickets don't count anymore. - They are playing the worst team in the entire field which was a complete gift by the committee. I am guessing there will be 10-11k.

I will be there with my family. Not often we get road games this close to home so why not take advantage of it! Go Sioux!

So if UND waits a week that means the MVFC doesn't offer USD? They obviously had a plan to take 1 team. If we wait then we look really bad for telling the BSC to hold on, then finding out that the MVFC only wants one team and it isn't us. How do we win by waiting? UND only had one date to dance with, the BSC.

Agreed. Everyone listen up: the invite from the MVFC was not coming. I repeat, it was NOT coming. We had 1 choice if we wanted FB to be in a conference. I am not upset at all by this.

The way its going i have a feeling they are going to wait. See if the MVFC votes to take them here sometime in future.

If true this tells me the Board of Regents down there are holding it up. The AD and Prez had to have signed off for the Big Sky to send them a signed letter and announce it like they did Monday.

The Gophers do not like playing against Dakota schools do they? You would think they would learn their lesson after beating SDSU by 3 and Bison by 1 and losing by 6 to Bison also.

There seems to be a lot of predictions similar to this among Bison fans. I have seen anywhere from 20-40 point blowout. One question: you do realize your team sucked last year, right? Their record was 11-18 with the best win of the season coming vs. 14-16 SDSU. Oh wait, thats right, I keep forgetting that you had the best recruiting class in Summit League history and your program is rich with tradition. Seriously Bison fans, can you at least be realistic. I know UND is way down but c'mon. Plus, the game is being played in the Dome which will change things.

This may have been stated already but it seems to me that we would want Sac State to go the WAC thus opening up a spot for somebody. Granted, if there is only one spot it would probably be filled by Southern Utah, but it would be best for us to have Sac State or Portland State move on and Montana stay.

Nice job by the student athletes, those are some very good scores! When compared to our 'regional' rivals we were ahead of all of them and it wasn't that close. To have 8 perfect scores is truly amazing.

Why is the Forum, The Herald, The Bismarck Tribune, 790 KFGO (NDSU's radio station), and 970 WDAY-AM all talking about this subject with a negative slant to NDSU? They all have spent 90% of their time on how bad it was on NDSU's end. Are they ALL against NDSU in some vast conspiracy to bring them down even further than they already are? What is strange is that the first thing out of NDSU fans mouth's was "what about UND, they did it too".

KFGO is discussing the topic again. I cannot believe that NDSU's own radio station is ripping them apart so bad. I thought all of the negative press was was going to end once that radio contract was signed.

There is a lot of interesting stuff in there. Sounds like there will be more to come. It is pretty easy to see what happened during the transition to D1. Chapman HAD to make it a success to show everyone they did the right thing, there was no other choice. So he gave the athletic department and the enrollment office all the resources they needed whether they had the money or not.
