You think buyouts started in 2006?

Did anybody see the Forum today? GSU's buyout for the NDSU game was only $60,000! That's less than half of what it cost to replace the game. That is a terribly negotiated buyout by NDSU. Faison looks pretty damn good getting $150,000 from UCA.

What I respect the most about Gene is how he made sure he saw the program through the transition. In doing so, he tarnished his career record greatly but showed he didn't care about that - unlike another local coach who got out before the transition could do the same.

The excuses are starting to come out. Bad opponent, Thanksgiving Weekend, etc. UND had to deal with those for 5 straight years of playoffs. Can you guys finally take back all you said about our first round playoff attendance? Seems like you are starting to finally realize and we can all agree.

That has nothing to do with it. You didn't answer the question. If Hockey would not be accepted in to the conference due to keeping the nickname, would hockey fans be OK with that? Would they be OK with being independent but getting to keep the nickname?

I got a question for the Sioux hockey fans who want to keep the name despite the ramifications to other sports: If the NCHC came out and said, "if UND does not resolve this nickname issue and is still on the HA list with the NCAA come July, they will not be accepted as a member of the NCHC" - what would you say? Would you be OK with hockey being an independent and having to schedule 30 random games?

For the first time in a long time, the Gophs were more physical than UND. Beside having no scorers, they don't seem to have those ass-kicking forwards that beat you up all game.

Does Little Terry understand that the Sioux did not have a confirmed invite from the MVFC? Without that the Summit was even more worthless than it already was. The guys think pretty highly of himself, that much is obvious.

ORU left the Summit League for the Southland Conference, which is the 29th ranked RPI Conf. in Mens Basketball. They wanted out BAD.

I was in the same boat. We did not even consider coming up for this game. However, we will be at Poly and USD for sure. Probably not Sioux Falls.

I have said the same thing for the past 10 years when we play BC. Why are they always so much faster than UND? It wasn't by a huge amount on Saturday but on that flurry of goals their guys were spinning our guys in the ground with moves, etc. Pretty much every time they play UND they win with speed.

And you are delusional to think Bohl isnt using it with Joe Mollberg during and after his failed recruitment effort.
