  1. Southland? I think you mean the CAA.
  2. Ones that already told him 3 days earlier that they are out and he is committing to UND? Seems like he wants him pretty bad.
  3. Good stuff!
  4. Let's remember, it was a soft commitment for all 3 schools who were recruiting him, not just UND. NDSU and their fans would have been ecstatic to get his "soft commitment".
  5. No. I was replying that UND is still in the poll at #24 contrary to what Dan said about them dropping out. Also, that Bohl seems to be pretty interested in the polls since he took time out of his press conference to vent out about them while Kolpack was nodding his head approvingly. Why was Bohl so worked up this week about the poll - they moved up to #6? Is he more worked up about them dropping to #12 or UND being in the poll? Seems if he was mad about dropping to #12 he would have vented last week when Jeff asked him.
  6. They are #24. And your coach seems to be pretty worried so they must matter.
  7. How old were those two when the game was played?
  8. So after four years of D1 transition we are right back in our rightful spot as the largest university in the state. That didn't take long.
  9. Now he added a full article in the Forum to his investigation: http://www.inforum.com/event/article/id/334516/group/Sports/
  10. Did "Pom Poms Kolpack" really go on the radio now to discuss this? What is his endgame in all of this - why is a Bison sports writer so worked up about this to the point where he is writing blog articles, tweets, and talking on the radio about it?
  11. You missed this one right after that: "@FGOSPORTSWRITER my theory as the "San Diego State" beat writer: some voted for North Dakota thinking it was North Dakota State."
  12. Why didn't they mix them up in the first three weeks? Or last year?
  13. A joke? Its the coaches poll Darrell, the people who know it best.
  14. Jim, Can you please stop all this NDSU talk in threads where it shouldn't be. It is ruining multiple threads and could easily be kept to one thread.
  15. What will be interesting to see is if a certain councilman benefits from this move by taking over the liquor sales at the Alerus Center. They are going to have to hire a local bar or liquor store to supply the beer/alcohol and also run the operation. The Bismarck Civic Center does that to get around the law. They have Captain Jacks supply it and then get 55% of the take.
  16. TT was 9-4 and won the Alamo Bowl. Please dont compare any FBS team NDSU has played to them.
  17. Post of the Day!
  18. If the entire student section and the entire band is a small minority then yes, you are correct. Those two groups can be pretty loud during a basketball game.
  19. Also, a couple years ago both the NDSU student section and the Band both broke out in separate "Sioux Suck" chants during a basketball game. They were playing Oakland.
  20. So now Bison fans are telling everyone it was the Semi-Finals?
  21. I am still trying to wrap my head around this. 5 million dollars for a Track Facility - in North Dakota. Do they realize they will never ever be near the top of the track world no matter how hard they try. And even if they do get good nationally, what does that get you? Nothing. The sport is worthless, it gets very little media coverage and no revenue. To not make it viable for football is stupid.
  22. I just read the article about the contribution by Stop and Go to make the Indoor Track Facility a go. So if I understand this right, NDSU is going to spend all that money on strictly a track facility that has a couple nets for golf and baseball. Really? They aren't going to put turf in it and make it a facility for football, there most important sport? So football doesn't have an Indoor Practice Facility after all of this stuff is built? If I am Craig Bohl I am not happy. As a UND fan I hope NDSU spends millions and millions of dollars on Track, Wrestling, Baseball, Golf, Softball - those sports are money pits that return minimal to nothing. It is apparent how lucky we are here. Our facilities were already built for us so the Indoor Facility that is going to be built soon is simply adding on extra's to make everything even better.
  23. I didn't see that picture in the Herald, thanks for clearing that up!
  24. I thought that was in a field south of the Alerus parking lot. This building is IN the Alerus Center parking lot and is a long 1 story rectangle. It doesn't look like a hotel but I guess it could be.
