This may have been stated already but it seems to me that we would want Sac State to go the WAC thus opening up a spot for somebody. Granted, if there is only one spot it would probably be filled by Southern Utah, but it would be best for us to have Sac State or Portland State move on and Montana stay.

Nice job by the student athletes, those are some very good scores! When compared to our 'regional' rivals we were ahead of all of them and it wasn't that close. To have 8 perfect scores is truly amazing.

Why is the Forum, The Herald, The Bismarck Tribune, 790 KFGO (NDSU's radio station), and 970 WDAY-AM all talking about this subject with a negative slant to NDSU? They all have spent 90% of their time on how bad it was on NDSU's end. Are they ALL against NDSU in some vast conspiracy to bring them down even further than they already are? What is strange is that the first thing out of NDSU fans mouth's was "what about UND, they did it too".

KFGO is discussing the topic again. I cannot believe that NDSU's own radio station is ripping them apart so bad. I thought all of the negative press was was going to end once that radio contract was signed.

Chapman HAD to make it a success to show everyone they did the right thing, there was no other choice. So he gave the athletic department and the enrollment office all the resources they needed whether they had the money or not. That was a precious Rah Rah article Kolpack. My god, get the kneepads off. The difference between NDSU and the rest of the schools around here is that the students/athletes from other schools do all of those community activities, get good grades, etc. BUT DO NOT end up on a police blotter constantly. I say we just go with The University of North Dakota for a few years until we can get things all settled down. Use the let "U" more in logos, etc. I actually think a big "U" on the jerseys would look cool.

The worst thing people can do is pull their money because of this. I know its a tough time and will be for awhile but hopefully over the summer their will be some soothing time and people will be ready to support athletics no matter what the name come Fall and Football Season. By pulling your money you are only hurting the programs you support. Lets face it, the name has been on borrowed time for years and it was inevitable. Also, don't use the 'wanting to get into the Summit League' for this action. The name was doomed regardless. There is no way you can keep fighting something every 10 years and avoid impending doom. But, after all that, we are still THE University of North Dakota.

Use a tamed down version of that Cocks logo and be called the "Gamecocks". Granted South Carolina uses it but its not as if its popular.

So you telling us that RFM is going to get more money for advertising during a Bison Basketball game than a UND hockey game? Please explain the facts behind that for us.

It is becoming fairly clear that UND will be on WDAY from now on. Which for me will be just fine, they have a nice footprint for all to listen to. If there is a gap in coverage then UND should go out and sign up a station in that area. This move was inevitable. For UND to be taking the exclusive rights of the biggest radio station in Fargo was strange. It only makes sense that NDSU finally figured this out.
