This is the classic "trap" game for the Sioux. Midseason, loss won"t really hurt as far as conference implications(i.e. still control destiny), but the Sioux need to be sharp and ready to play tomorrow. Everytime we play augie, it is a meatgrinder game and winning this game could be the difference between an undefeated run and having a grueling playoff schedule. I am as nervous about this game as any they have had this season??

That looks about right to me! I hope UNI keeps winning games this year and is a legit playoff team in 1aa. I remember when the Bison beat Montana at Montana and they were ranked pretty high(based on previous season) and it was a very impressive effort by NDSU to come back in the 2nd half like they did, but as the season went on, the win lost a little luster as Montana proved to have one of their weaker teams in the last 10-15 years that season.

The conference is competitive, but only the top 2-3 would be competitive in any of the top conferences in the country The Gophers "great" teams are 7th or 8th in the Big 10, which is a mediocre by comparison conference(SEC, ACC, Big 12, Pac 10) and this year they are down a notch....
