It is hard to explain to the simple the difference between a "fan" and an alum the realities of the name situation.

I like the direction Bubba has the program moving. Continue to bring in talent for competition at positions and to build depth.....is the player currently in the starting position a strength, neutral, or a weakness? This evaluation needs to extend to our coaching staff as well. As we continue to build our program and move to where we want to be, are the coaches we have a good fit? Are they still learning or are they maxed out and maybe overmatched in their abilities? Tough decisions for a head coach to make as the staff seems close and friendships are built but at the same time we might have a couple areas that are currently holding us back or will in the future.

The Bison Insider guys indicated the complete opposite of that on the radio today......*caught a little by accident, radio was on channel from Dan Patrick show earlier. *I don't actually listen to that station other than for national shows.

Didn't feel like reading through this thread but has their been discussion as to why this game isn't at 12 noon, 1:00, 1:30, 2:00, 2:30...? Just curious as to why we take the biggest home football game our team has played in years and hold it opposite our defending National Championship hockey team playing in a nationally televised game in which we promoted and put together travel packages to go to New York City. I am attending the football game but am more than a little pissed about the game time. When I first heard we were playing at 5 my first thought was that the NCAA must determine the starting game times since there is no way anyone in our athletic department would be dumb enough to overlap the hockey and football games unless they had no choice.

Actually Hooker did a great job of getting down the court and staying out of traffic and would have had a wide open look from the top of the key if Geno wasn't intent on shooting from the second he got the ball in bounded to him. You have to be aware of surroundings and also know that they are very unlikely to call a foul on a last second shot unless the shooter is under complete control as we should know as we have tried a similar final second shot 7 or 8 times the last 2+ years.

The interconference records are what they are but to compare which conference is better you really need to discount the results against AHA to get an accurate picture. That said, it looks like the Big 10 could move from their 4th place spot last year and 5th place spot from 2 years ago into a solid 2nd.

Not sure UND can beat either of them but matchup wise I would rather play NDSU than SDSU and I would rather play either of them than EWU.....not saying one is better than the other and all 3 are tough but UND's best matchup on defense anyway is with NDSU.

Studsrud is giving his all but it ain't working today. We can't do a straight drop back pass because the line can't protect him and when he rolls out they are just daring him to run. They are just flooding the zone when he rolls out and not even sending anyone at him.....if he was healthy and playing against this ttype of defensive philosophy he would probably have 150+ rushing yards himself today...but he isn't.....need to put Bartles in to keep them honest, even if he just picks up 5-6 yards at a time and slides it is better than throwing to 2 or 3 receivers covered by 5-6 guys all day.

Isn't Cornell supposed to be one of the upper echelon schools in this country. It is scary how uneducated and misinformed these sheep are. if I was a parent paying tuition to this prestigious school I would have some serious questions about my investment.
