  1. I could be wrong but I thought Miller was actually on campus that summer.
  2. Hrkac was one and done......wait, I'm back, and then one and done again.
  3. The problem you will run into is who is going to pay for this merchandise? We are in the business of making it and selling it to retail so I guess we will see how confident the retailers like Scheels, The Ralph, and others are in this merchandise moving and how much they will buy initially?
  4. Cute. Found my way there 3 times last year and 4 times the year before. Hit every home hockey game except 1 this year and caught 5 basketball games as well.....did you have a point or just spouting mindless drivel again?
  5. Maybe they thought we were a different bird? It's not like you attend games anyway. Get over it.
  6. Not an expert on title 9 by any stretch but did a little research using some recent numbers. UND has a 57/43 men to women ratio and offers sports that allow for 150 scholarships for men and 135 for women which puts us ahead of the curve at 53/47. As far as participation we are at 250 males and 212 females which again is ahead of the curve at 54/46. NDSU has a 55/45 men to women ration and offers sports that allow for 127 scholarships for men and 95 for women which slightly puts them on the wrong side at 57/43 and they have participation numbers of 292 males and 149 female athletes which throw them way out of whack at 66/34. Maybe we should model our Title 9 compliance program after theirs? I think the answer for UND is to add Women's Rowing to the mix and get rid of some of the money draining women's sports like Hockey and Soccer(I know Big sky....but exceptions can and have been made to other schools). I believe it is 14 scholarships but looking at participation numbers, schools like Iowa and Minnesota have around 90 female athletes in rowing......I am guessing they probably have 15-20 or more ladies on campus who are on the rowing team and may not even realize it.
  7. Well, it is a pay cut for the average SEC football player.
  8. Possibly. Although a sporadic connection can help fuel the rage.......I am torn on this?
  9. Maybe we should all go "Brock Jensen Bisonville Meltdown" during the draft. Rules 1. Everyone open your window and climb out on the ledge. 2. Breathe through your mouth. 3. Mock and ridicule every Linebacker and fullback taken before Will in the first 2 rounds on that player's college home message board, on our message board, national message boards and on twitter. Also find the NFL teams twitter accounts and tell them how f'n stupid they are. 4. After the start of the 3rd round it is time to mock and ridicule every single player taken in the draft ahead of Mr. Ratelle. Repeat all the steps in step 3 but feel free to sprinkle in some profanity and vulgarities and just generally rage and go nuts. If that player has any brothers, sisters, cousins, and any other family members with a social media presence don't forget to include them in the fun. If your b.a.c is above .20 during this, even better!
  10. Marsha! Marsha! Marsha!
  11. JBSU
  12. umm. pretty sure Minneapolis is a Lynx town. #rollkitty
  13. If he doesn't play with the independent team then what's the point?
  14. As long as those schools don't end up in the news over safe spaces and triggering episodes. If I was a parent and had kids at those schools currently I would file a class action lawsuit against the schools that encourage and promote this type of behavior for devaluing my son or daughters degree. Unfortunately for many of these students entering the job market they are probably going to have to do some fast talking to distance themselves from the losers who are embarrassing these campuses and convince future employers that they are not lumped in with the special snowflakes.
  15. maybe we should pump the brakes a bit? http://www.oilfieldjobfinder.com/oil-boom-headed-for-north-dakota/

  17. timing. If I remember the timeframe correctly when the Summit league lost a team or two for baseball and everyone thought it would be natural for UND to join in baseball which would allow the Summit league to keep their auto qualifier spot for baseball and for their other sports as well as they were temporarily out of compliance with NCAA requirements. I think Faison and Douple still had and maybe still do have a strained relationship largely owed to the lies Douple had spread to the media which stemmed from him having to cover for Gene Taylor's lies.
  18. Diversity happens.....doesn't need to be forced or mandated.
  19. Hell. How did I forget Marc Iavaroni and Earl "the swirl" Cureton? I still can't believe they didn't finish in fo, fo, and fo like Moses had predicted. Dave Zinkoff doing the P.A. was the best ever! "At 1 forward, out of the University of North Carolina ,#24 Bobby Jones and at center from Albany State, #11, Caldwell Jones...................................................................................no relation" Different game back then. The 82-83 76ers attempted 109 3 pointers for the season.
  20. They are up to something. The coach is telling players for a club team that he expects them to have a year or two of juniors prior to playing at Jamestown.
  21. Mo Cheeks Andrew Toney World B. Free Caldwell Jones...............no relation to Bobby Jones.
  22. If a guy who has seats on the 50 wants to watch the game from the end zone it's none of your business and the fact you don't like the looks of it on your 13 inch Zenith when the camera pans the crowd is irrelevant. When I buy a ticket and they ask what section I want I tell them I don't care or if I scalp one I scan it when I go in and put it in my pocket and never even check where the seat actually is. Charge less=less revenue.
  23. Are you under the impression that those people that stand there got in free? Most bought a ticket for a seat and chose to stand(I do it every game I go to)
