Doesn't really address your question regarding USHL vs NAHL, but the CHL added some rules to make more goalie be of Canadian nationality. This is supposed to cause the level of goalie in USHL & NAHL etc to increase.

I didn't care to hear the announcers use the term Nodak, just didn't sound right. Sounded like they were not going to bother with the entire name of the state as it is irrelevant. I asked my daughter what I should vote for, she asked the choices and wouldn't quit laughing when I said Sundogs. Finally she said she would no longer cheer for UND if they were the Sundogs. Thanks NCAA

Did I see that offsides correctly, the puck was in the neutral zone but the UND player with his skates still in the attacking zone deflected the puck that the catamount player was passing away from their zone?
