My opinion for tonight is throw out pretty much the same lineup maybe could put in Caggiula for O'Donnell but it sounds like he has had a couple great weeks of practice, I would also put Mattson back in there tonight for Panz, but I kind of doubt we see that after how physical last nights game was.

I don't know if I would say that, Sioux had a couple of posts early, the shot from the point that sat behind the goalie, and the puck right on the edge of the crease with an open net that someone couldn't tap in.

Kind of a strange game, I'm sure Zane would like to have a couple of those goals back as he made a few real good saves but then gave up the 2 weak goals but I was glad to see the guys bailed him out after he really stole the team a win last week. Tech really looked like a bunch of goons for a while there and really got a lot of stickwork in. I hope Hunt is embarassed at the horrible call he made on Mac, I would expect a very tightly called game from the refs tomorrow after some of what happened tonight. I really thought Techs goalie was pretty shaky too and if we can get a good number of shots on him again we will be fine again tomorrow. All that really matters at this time of the year though...survive and advance!

I'm taking the Sioux in two. 5-1 and 4-2 Minny in two. 5-2 and 4-1 St. Cloud in two. 3-1 and 4-2 Wisconsin in three. 3-2, 2-3, and 2-1 OT CC in three. 5-3, 2-5, and 4-3 Mankato in three. 3-2, 3-4, and 3-2 Which would set up Thursday matchups of Wisconsin vs Mankato and the Sioux vs. CC.

Just never really fit with the Wild, they pretty much already had what he can do. Good for him to get a fresh start and hopefully a chance to get up with the Caps, not real sure on their D situation and how he fits but I would guess better than he did with the Wild.

Just saw that and he is a great talent but with him playing where he plays it really doesn't hurt me to see him not come here.

I believe he has been drafted by Portland already so that is possible but I don't know how much longer Seth Jones will be playing for Portland.

Schlossman‏@SchlossmanGF EGF's Tanner Tweten and Tye Ausmus invited to NTDP evaluation camp later this month. Both are candidates to join U17s next year. I would rather see these guys back with EGF next year as they should be a very good team but this may help tell you how much potential these guys really have. They're still fine, I don't like the way they have been playing but almost all bracketologists have them comfortably in the field still. Both the ESPN and CBS guys have them as a #9 seed even after the loss to Nebraska and Purdue.

Yeah I just noticed Bjugstad much more on the ice and making plays when I watched Minnesota games than I did Archibald watching UNO games. Some very tough picks as always with the teams and especially the all rookie team forwards.

Minnesota would also have a bye and we would play someone Thursday night and if we win that we would play Minnesota Friday night as long as Minnesota and St.Cloud both win their first round series.

I'm with you, I would rather play some other teams in the regionals especially when you consider we could very likely meet them the week before regionals at the final 5 and then to turn around a team again is pretty tough.

I think it basically mean he hasn't made the decison yet to play juniors next year, you can play a certain number of games before or after your high school season and still return to your high school team and I believe that is what is happening here. That doesn't mean Gersich will for sure be playing high school hockey next season and really just means he is keeping his options open at the time.

We won't play Denver, the teams we could possibly play on theThursday at the final 5 would be the Mankato/Omaha winner, or Colorado College if they beat Denver, or Duluth if they beat Wisconsin.

Denver-CC should be a very entertaining series and CC has played very well against Denver this season and then you factor in their big rivalry too. Also with Omaha headed to Mankato you will have Troy Jutting returning to Mankato for I believe the first time since being fired.

Saw that it was in Bemidji tonight, strange decison to have it in Bemidji rather than Madison since St.Cloud was the only team with a chance to win the cup outright. Looks like the loss tonight has dropped the Sioux to #7 in the pairwise for the time being, Very important to take care of Tech in just 2 next weekend.

I loved how he went after them and stuck up for his team and can't wait to see his press conference. It was really a shame for the refs to take the game away from Hermantown like that and you could kind of feel it coming as soon as they gave STA the powerplay. If you are gonna call one of those a hold you have to call the other one too. I think my hate level for STA is at an all time high right now.
