  1. I haven't listened to them for the whole season, can't stand them it felt like my ears were bleeding everytime I've heard one of them talk and had to sync up the TV and radio instead.
  2. I thought he was decent, he was out of position a lot and gave a lot of bad rebounds up but Tech didn't capitalize on them, another major difference I have also noticed between Saunders and Gothberg is Saunders almost never plays the puck and sets it up for the D and how Gothberg does that and is always talking trying to help let the D know where to go with the puck, I feel much more comfortable with Zane in net and hope we see him tonight.
  3. It really seems like some fans only show up after losses just so they can bitch about things. I'm not calling out the people who are here talking about things constructively and what went wrong/right and what we need to do better, but the calls about how we have no leadership, every player sucks, or how great Blais is and how Hak will never win a big one and things like that are really getting sickening. If you want off the bandwagon jump off the rest of the fanbase and the team will be fine without you!
  4. CC forces game 3 with a 2-1 win over Denver
  5. Looks like the Sioux drop to a 5 way tie for 5th in the pairwise with the loss for the time being.
  6. If Grimaldi had a decent ability at being able to finish around the net and on his chances how many goals would he have this season so far? 40 or maybe more?
  7. Pretty frustrating game and really not a real great game, a lot of guys need to bring more energy and intensity. I thought we made the goalie look a lot better than he actually was and at some point guys need to finish. Grimaldi, Gaarder, and Mitch had about 3 or more chances each and didn't do anything with them. Rocco really has to cut down the number of turnovers and giveaways to with the blind passes and just throwing it in front, if there is nothing there he needs to throw it back in the corner and continue cycling the puck. Copley was very shakey early and we let him get more comfortable and didn't take advantage of some of the rebounds he gave. I don't know about anyone else but I feel a lot more comfortable with Zane in the net and wouldn't be at all suprised to see him in tomorrow. I really noticed tonight how Saunders really has trouble with controlling rebounds and seems to be out of position a lot. Regardless of who is in the lineup tomorrow night the guys have to find a way to get it done and come with a lot better play and more intensity.
  8. There are some very good prospects even beyond the big 3 but from what I have been hearing it sounds like many of them are more BCS type guys and there isn't a whole lot of guys projecting at the mid-major level and some that have been projected at that level are starting to rise as well and may end up at BCS schools too.
  9. Mankato game we gave up more high quality shots and made me a little more nervous, last night even when they spent time in our zone I thought we did a pretty good job keeping them outside and not giving up a whole lot of quality shots, but I do get what you are trying to say.
  10. I agree with you and will trust whatever Hak goes with and be fine with it.
  11. The number of shots really isn't a big deal it's the quality of shots that matter and in my opinion we did a pretty decent job of limiting the number of Tech's quality shots.
  12. My opinion for tonight is throw out pretty much the same lineup maybe could put in Caggiula for O'Donnell but it sounds like he has had a couple great weeks of practice, I would also put Mattson back in there tonight for Panz, but I kind of doubt we see that after how physical last nights game was.
  13. I don't know if I would say that, Sioux had a couple of posts early, the shot from the point that sat behind the goalie, and the puck right on the edge of the crease with an open net that someone couldn't tap in.
  14. Kind of a strange game, I'm sure Zane would like to have a couple of those goals back as he made a few real good saves but then gave up the 2 weak goals but I was glad to see the guys bailed him out after he really stole the team a win last week. Tech really looked like a bunch of goons for a while there and really got a lot of stickwork in. I hope Hunt is embarassed at the horrible call he made on Mac, I would expect a very tightly called game from the refs tomorrow after some of what happened tonight. I really thought Techs goalie was pretty shaky too and if we can get a good number of shots on him again we will be fine again tomorrow. All that really matters at this time of the year though...survive and advance!
  15. I'm taking the Sioux in two. 5-1 and 4-2 Minny in two. 5-2 and 4-1 St. Cloud in two. 3-1 and 4-2 Wisconsin in three. 3-2, 2-3, and 2-1 OT CC in three. 5-3, 2-5, and 4-3 Mankato in three. 3-2, 3-4, and 3-2 Which would set up Thursday matchups of Wisconsin vs Mankato and the Sioux vs. CC.
  16. Just never really fit with the Wild, they pretty much already had what he can do. Good for him to get a fresh start and hopefully a chance to get up with the Caps, not real sure on their D situation and how he fits but I would guess better than he did with the Wild.
  17. Just saw that and he is a great talent but with him playing where he plays it really doesn't hurt me to see him not come here.
  18. I believe he has been drafted by Portland already so that is possible but I don't know how much longer Seth Jones will be playing for Portland.
  19. Christian Evers was invited to the 2013 NTDP evaluation camp, full roster is here http://www.usantdp.com/news_article/show/235858?referrer_id=666974
  20. Schlossman‏@SchlossmanGF EGF's Tanner Tweten and Tye Ausmus invited to NTDP evaluation camp later this month. Both are candidates to join U17s next year. I would rather see these guys back with EGF next year as they should be a very good team but this may help tell you how much potential these guys really have. Here is the full tryout camp roster http://www.usantdp.c...errer_id=666974 Also see a couple Minnesota high school players listed that could be potential recruits. Also see Caleb Jones on the list who I believe is Seth's brother.
  21. They're still fine, I don't like the way they have been playing but almost all bracketologists have them comfortably in the field still. Both the ESPN and CBS guys have them as a #9 seed even after the loss to Nebraska and Purdue.
  22. Yeah I just noticed Bjugstad much more on the ice and making plays when I watched Minnesota games than I did Archibald watching UNO games. Some very tough picks as always with the teams and especially the all rookie team forwards.
