  1. Facility-wise?
  2. The IPF, coupled with the new coaching staff and the beginnings of on-field success, is going to be a real game-changer on the recruiting trail. Perhaps we're already starting to see that???
  3. With the football program starting to turn around, I'm thinking that the giving toward Phase II may start to pick up. It would be nice to get an update on how much has come in since the last update and how much we still need for completion of both Phases.
  4. If so, that's a shame, after all the effort he's put into getting back from his injury two years ago. Not to mention, he's one of the team leaders.
  5. Didn't he say earlier (or maybe he was outed) that he was an SU fan?
  6. Was including Ferguson on my list, too. Not sure what his injury is or how serious, but, needless to say, it would be great to have him back next week.
  7. This bye week couldn't have come at a better time with, by my count, 8 players out with injuries, at least two of whom are outfor the season (Ruhe and Woodsmall). Hopefully, we get 3 or 4 players back for Southern Utah; not too optimistic about either Simmons or McGill, though.
  8. Gas should be cheaper in Kansas City than in Springfield because it's a much bigger market, more competition, etc. The factthat Springfield is usually cheaper than Kansas City (by up to $0.20) indicates that it's more of a free market with true competition and makes Kansas City look more cartel-ish.
  9. I think a lot of it has to do with the fact that our state gas tax ($0.173) is one of the lowest in the nation (only 5 states have a lower gas tax). Also, we're located relatively close to several refineries (3 in Kansas, 6 in Oklahoma, and 2 in Arkansas). Oddly, when I was in Springfield for the UND-Mo. St. game a few weeks ago, prices there were about $0.20 lower than Kansas City.
  10. $2.77 at Sam's and Costco in Kansas City.
  11. Thanks. That answers it.
  12. 20-10 Sioux. No last-second anything.
  13. With the possible exception of Woodsmall, injurywise it seems like we came out of the Montana game in pretty good shape. Wouldn't be surprised to see Shaugabay back this week. Was great to hear that Kuksa accompanied the team to Montana State (as equip. manager, I think I read) last week, so he must be in school. It would be great if the doctors would let him play next year after a year and a half layoff to heal.
  14. 24-13 UM
  15. Anyone hear who won the VB game? Edit: Never mind; I see that they don't play until tomorrow night.
  16. Thanks for the clarification. I hope that deal can be modified in the future like the CBS hockey deal was.
  17. Great, I had always thought that it was on a game-by-game basis. Thanks.
  18. Is there a chance that the game will be picked up by FCS?
  19. We play about 8 or 9 true freshmen (they don't all start), too, so we can certainly identify with your comments. Winner, winner, chicken dinner on your prediction (28-16). Good luck to you, too, the rest of your season and thanks for coming on our site to add some solid comments to the discussion.
  20. Not to mention the fact that we won TOP by 7and a half minutes, which is a reflection of some nice improvement by our offense, and our defense held MSU to 329 yards after they had over 500 yards of total offense each of the last 3 games. Our defense is starting to give me goosebumps and our offense is finally starting to come around.
  21. Even though he feels that way, I think it's inappropriate to verbalize it to someone outside the coaching staff to where it could end up on a fan board like this and be seen by his players. JMO.
  22. MSU 31 UND 13
