Yes I agree he sounds like such a homer when he does this. He needs to be careful he might get to excited and fall out of the broadcast booth.
  4. Yes, I am Canadian and I totally agree.
  5. Good answer, from a Canadian that went to UND and enjoyed every minute of the experience.
  6. Very sad to see it go. Was my home from 73 until I graduated in 77. Great memories, I was hoping to get back to take a walk through one last time. RIP Walsh, you were the best.
  7. Goons statement about Al could not be more accurate. He was the best ambassador UND hockey every had. He will be missed. Goon if you are at Al's service I would enjoy meeting and speaking with you.
  8. My condolences to the Dunn family. Travis was indeed a class individual. I met him when we were both students at UND in the late 70's. He was a freshman and myself a junior. As people said he always had a smile on his face. I ran into him again when he was doing the broadcasts with Pat Sweeny. I worked as a linesman in the WCHA at that time and we always had interesting conversations when I would run into him after the games. RIP Travis
  9. I agree, came to school in 1973 go to GF as much as possible to watch hockey and visit my favourite restaurant. The best!!
  10. As long as all of your party is entering with you, at the same time I would not see a problem. They will just scan all eight tickets from your phone.
  11. My condolences to the Strinden family. I had a chance to meet him in Winnipeg at an alumni function. His demeanor left me with a great feeling he was a class individual. Rest in peace.
  12. i must agree.
  13. Very sad to hear this. Dallas was one of the Phyed teachers I worked with at Red River High School in the late 70's when I was a student Teacher. He was terrific to work with. Dallas, Ken Towers all the greats. RIP Dallas Kopp from a Canadian that will always remember you.
  14. That is pretty funny. Sounds like there are a lot of anti Canadians on this thread.
  15. I thought the Tim Hortons in GF was closed ?
  16. He lived with us in Walsh Hall. I cant remember his name either. He was from Knoxville not Nashville.
  17. Excellent article on Patrick, UND, and College hockey in general. He was definitely a talented player.
  18. Sounds like you do not like Canadians.
  19. Thanks for posting this video. A shame the rink had to be torn down. It held a lot of memories for fans who were lucky enough to attend games there.
  20. Vegas is nice, but I would like to see another destination.
  21. If you watch the Gopher games, even against the better teams there are a lot of fans disguised as empty seats in that arena.
  22. Thanks any way I have obtained tickets.
