  1. He sat by us on Saturday for a bit before he was forced to move seats for a 4th time. Still on crutches. Might be a bit yet before he’s back.
  2. Someone posted a picture with Gaber’s dad at a gas pump a couple weeks ago. So it’s hardly restricted to just his mom. Probably the whole family at this point.
  3. Your scenario could only happen if CC is a 3 seed and UNO is a 4 seed. currently both are 3 seeds.
  4. Need to swap CC and UNO since UNO is the host in Sioux Falls.
  5. I think Western could win their series as the road team. Just based on how SCSU has been playing. But then I thought SCSU wasn’t playing well at this time last year and then they won the Frozen Faceoff so…
  6. No they are not related.
  7. It was definitely Western. … I think a lot of the decommits that happen are because of this exact situation where kids are given a deadline to commit.
  8. It’s supposed to be on Midco Sports 2 if you get that.
  9. Midco is down there broadcasting it for TV, but Omaha isn’t allowing them to stream it since they want to use their own stream.
  10. Just based on my memory: 2014 - Union, No - was a top 4 2015 - Providence, No 2016 -UND, No, was a top 4 2017 - Denver, Yes 2018 - Duluth, No 2019 - Duluth, No 2020 —————— 2021 - UMass, No, I think they were a 2 seed? 2022 - Denver, No, might’ve been a top 4 seed 2023 - Quinnipiac, No, was a top 4
  11. I’m guessing since the SCSU/DU game is in St Cloud and starts at the same time as ours it will probably end around the same time. Last time in 2022 they did put the DU/Omaha game on the screen after our game ended in case the result ended in our favor though.
  12. I was just going to say this. I really don’t think there’s much of a chance he comes in 2025. The last time we brought in a true freshman at goalie it didn’t work out and it’s just pretty rare. I just find it to be a bad idea in general. I’m pretty sure we’ve gotta be looking for a guy to fill a spot until Heil is ready.
  13. Berg committed to Omaha super early if I recall. I believe he was playing in the Omaha Lancers AAA program at the time so he was already in proximity to UNO. Probably could have gotten on UND’s radar if he waited a bit longer back then.
  14. It’d be nice if they were…
  15. If someone could explain to me how we can stream CBS games on Paramount Plus I’d love to know. I have Paramount Plus and I could not find hockey on there the last time UND was on CBS.
  16. I would be pretty confident that it’s an error. USHL also has had in the past Jake Schmaltz being Nick and Jordan’s brother and Cody Croal as being committed to Maine. They’re notorious for being inaccurate/not updated.
  17. No. In the first year of the NCHC, when St Cloud won it, they were not a 1 seed. They ended up losing in the regional final to Minnesota, who was the 1 seed in that regional.
  18. Their fans that I talk to have indicated they don’t do well against really aggressive teams, and seem to think they might be in some trouble. (I thought Miami was super aggressive. )
  19. Considering the Carolina Hurricanes do not currently have an AHL affiliate and their prospects are scattered among several AHL teams, it would make more sense for Blake to stick around until his readiness to make an NHL roster is more obvious.
  20. Pretty sure it’s mostly based on TV. So ESPN’s preference will be a factor. That’s why there was a push to get the off day because high seeds who should have been given the early game were given the late game for TV reasons, and then giving more rest to the lower seeds. I don’t think there’s any way to predict game times.
  21. Yes. Go to High Street and take your pick.
  22. I think there’s no chance he plays even if he was close to a return. Especially with the bye week next week.
  23. The problem with that is if the Hobey is supposed to go to the best player in college hockey the academic and off ice stuff should not be weighed more than on ice achievements. Seems like it was in Vesey’s case. 71 points vs 46 points? C’mon now.
  24. Yeah. That was when the committee decided to start giving out an award based on a career instead of the current season. In Connor’s case they gave it to Jimmy Vesey- he was a returning Hobey hat trick finalist but didn’t have anywhere close to the offensive production of Kyle Connor.
