the guys at CHN have been almost spot on the past few years at predicting the final bracket, they have us heading to st paul.

my thought is they would send und to st. paul if they are the fourth seed as they wouyld be the lowest 1 seed and if you have a rule that a host school has to play at that site, bracket integrety sometimes will have to go out the window. bc and michigan would prob be protected from playing in st paul being they are two highest seeds.

one of the main components of the pwr is rpi and even with sweeping mankato our rpi isn't going to move that much, we might move up one or two spots if we sweep and denver splits and maine loses to unh.

a split this weekend would be huge for the big picture. sure it wouldn't really move us up that far in the pwr this weekend, in fact we would probably remain about where we are. however this team is going to need to win games through the final five and a split would be huge in the race for homeice and I think everyone here agrees that are chances are much better at winning a first round series at home rather than on the road. split at DU, sweep MSU, win first round series and get to the X would put is in pretty good position. my guess is when it is all said and done come selection sunday we will be in about 12th in the pwr.
