  1. DU and miami yes are unflippable however wisc still could be with good fortune. I think if we could sweep this weekend and wisc lose one and we end up playing wisc at the final five and beat them that could be enough to flip it. for us.
  2. just cheer for team in red to lose today.
  3. nope. the only ones left we can realisticly flip are alaska, bc and an extreme outside shot at wisc.
  4. not next year.
  5. I agree for what it is worth I like the pairwise system. it does have its flaws but by and large teams know where they are at and there isn't too much complaining at the end of the who of who should have or shouldn't have gotten in like BB. the only complaining is from fans about where they were or weren't sent.
  6. yes everything through the final five counts.
  7. also there was no hextall or knight as well that series.
  8. uaa over duluth msum over scsu(this helps in the wcha and in the pairwise) nationally unh over bc merrimack over providence umass losing to whoever they play
  9. I'll take a couple of solid 4-2 wins and lets move on.
  10. your logic is very sound, no disagreement. but to pin our third place hopes on a msum team sweeping the huskies I wouldn't bet on it plus having to hope duluth loses one to uaa that's a lot of counting on crappy teams to help us out.
  11. 4th is the best we'll finish as there is no way msum will sweep the huskies.
  12. I was wrong on my orig post I thought you were asking about und. but I changed it and I think it was woog's last year.
  13. woog's last year I think.
  14. du,miami, and wisc comparisons are unflippable. bc,alaska and scsu can still be flipped. help needed to flip those: merrimack to become a TUC, BC to have less than a split this weekend against UNH, scsu to lose this weekend or next weekend and alaska to lose a couple of TUC games or to miami at the CCHA tournament(finishing third in the WCHA and playing and sweeping UAA would flip this as well).
  15. hopefully we just weathered the storm and can play sioux hockey the last two periods.
  16. du,miami, wisc and scsu are pretty much unflippable. the highest we would be able to get is 19 comparisons which would be 5th or 6th. edit- our 0-4 against DU is killing us in several comparisons(mainly uno and bc) so playing them at the final five and beating would be a help.
  17. unfortunatley I don't think either will happen. however the last time we finished fifth and had to play the play in game we ended up going to the nat. champ game, maybe history will repeat itself.
  18. beings our track record in cc isn't the greatest, I'm hoping for a split and will be happy.
  19. Jim Dahl runs simulated results for his pairwise analysis and projections.
  20. yeah, our track record out in the springs isn't that great, we have what one sweep in the last 20 years out there? and have been swept many more times than that. sweep umd, at least split at cc and sweep tech and odds are we'll be tied with cc and then it all depends on tie breakers.
  21. It'll be interesting to see if they can go on some kind of little run with the momentum after last saturday or mind the same kind of scorinf misfortunes that led up to saturday.
  22. "IF" we were to sweep we would put the duluth comparison in our column plus the vermont one for sure. should we sweep we'll definatley be in the top 10 after this weekend.
  23. according to hak hextall probably won't play this weekend
  24. do we even know if davidson is even good at fighting? people kept saying the same thing about finley because of his size and didn't get his ass kicked in his first pro game?
