I would much rather play yale over those other two as well, but I wouldn't have minded another shot at UNH. as far as yale goes and their shots per game, I don't think they have played a team like us that IF we come out like we have the last month with energy we will dominate play. We dominated the majority of each of the last two games against what many would consider far superior teams who weren't missing their best player.

I'll be very surprised if our bracket doesn't look like this.

maybe heading out east won't be the worst thing despite having to be in bc's bracket as we will have played 6 games in 9 days and would get an extra days' rest.

I think the sioux didn't go at full speed last night and were conserving energy for obvious reasons. I think tonight we'll see a full balls to the wall team. also is it just me or does Blood break at least one stick a game, holy crap is he going through sticks?

what got frattin in the suspension I believe was the distance he went to hit wehrs and his admission he wanted to lay out a big hit. we can be fortunate that it isn't more than one game as it could have affected our ncaa game. numerous people on this board have been up in arms that the wcha hasn't done anything about hits like this and now they do we are all upset because it was one of ours. if the shoe had been on the other foot and frattin was on the receiving end we would be asking for the death penalty. the situation is what it is and frattin stepped over the line and now has to sit out a game. i said this in an earlier thread so we'll win 4-3 instead of 5-3. let's move on and I'm pretty sure this will fire up the boys even more and should we win frattin will have fresh legs come fri night.

if these are both to be true, just another obsticle this team has had thrown at it and so far things have gone pretty well all things considered since that fateful night in november.

yes I did we can go as high is third. it looks like the only way we avoid going to mass is if bc loses to vermont and we win at least one game or win the ff and wisc loses two.

if we win 2 this weekend and bc loses to vermont they will fall to 8th and we'll be fourth. in that scenario denver possibly goes to mass or bc goes to fort wayne.

I don't think either team played that great last night. gophers obviously played better than fri night and took advantage of a few breaks. und is still the better team in my opinion but if the gphers win tonight more power to them and it won't break my heart having to avoid the prospect of playing three games next weekend.

special teams will be the key tonight for obvious reasons-shore up the pk and expect it on the ice a lot tonight and get better on the pp as it has been awful the last three games. if it's close in the third expect a bogus call against us like last night.

right on. last I checked there were different definitions of the word gay without them even referring to sexuality. the term has several slang meanings as well without referring to sexuality with one of them being something is lame. you could probably dig pretty deep and find several instances over the years since the creation of siouxsports.com where someone has said something was gay on this board without it referring to sexuality.

they did the gf series, it was two other bafoons in denver. on a sidenote I think derek and marco did a decent job that series. I wouldn't mind seeing these two here as I think they would do a decent job because if they don't derek might not get to ref in the ncaa's.

yeah so essentially you are paying $668 for the parking pass and I wouldn't consider those the best seats in the house.

they changed this a couple of years a go for reasons like this. as there were comparisons being lost because team a would play 20 TUC games and say have a winning perctg. of .680 and team b woould play one game and be 1-0 and get that point. they wanted to make it a little fairer. even if UND were to sweep this weekend odds are minnesota would still remain a TUC becaue they have a decent enough rpi and would take that huge of a hit.
