The first in the list of criteria, so it must be pretty important to the committee. This kid's got his head screwed on straight, and works as hard or harder than anyone on the team. His character is the greatest of his many assets. Duncan's grade= A+ Leading the league in scoring isn't bad. Neither is "near the top" in the nation. Duncan's grade= A All academic team, and perhaps one of the most humble athletes to wear the Sioux sweater. Duncan's grade= A+ Check, check, and check plus, completing much more than 50% of the season. (100% of TWO seasons, btw) Duncan's Grade= A+ Say what you will about Hensick etal, but if Duncan doesn't get this award, he (like Panzer) will be robbed. Based on the above criteria, there is not a more deserving player in the NCAA than Ryan Duncan.

Holy Sleeping Editors, Batman! They said "Fighting Sioux" at least three times in that article! I see a tight game that can go either way. The Friday night game in SCSU was telling of what can happen when both teams are on their game. Let's hope Goepfert isn't on his. Since they can't tie, I'll be a homer and go with 3-2 Sioux.

Done all he can do at the college level? MacNaughton Cup, NCAA Championship, Hobey Baker, Hrkac's single season scoring record... Toews has work to do, my friend. You know, just once I'd love to hear a great player say, "I'm coming back next year because I love the tradition of Fighting Sioux hockey. I want to help UND win another National Championship, and I'm not leaving until I do." Freshmen, Sophomores, and Juniors... help us out here.

I'm with PCM. Quit the conspiracy nonsense. Are you truly offended by objective honesty? Even a bona-fide Sioux homer like me is starting to think some on this board have lost their minds. On the good side, I like the UND vs. Michigan, UM vs. #16 seed bracket. It worked well for us last year.

Those of us that participate on this and other internet forums will have our say. Most of us, in fact, have seen the subject beaten to death so badly on the boards that we're ready to say, "I could care less." The fact is, however, that our small internet fan communities are a very small (insignificant?) voice in the grand scheme of this former rivalry. The UND and NDSU games have impacted many people in our state for many years. And while those of us die-hards who are reading about this stuff every day are sick of it, there is a far greater number of people, IMO, that can't wait to have it back. Whether we care or not, UND will play NDSU again.

Sioux playoff tradition: Beards. Gopher playoff tradition: Metro-sexual hairstyles. I'm definitely backing the right horse...

I like Tech as the spoiler as well as UW. They're coming off a good effort last weekend (albeit sub-par by their opponent) and have been able to steal points from everyone in the league this year. (except SCSU I guess) I think except for UM vs. AA, it's anyone's tournament.

A couple of questions... (satellite newbie) 1. How difficult is it to aim the dish correctly, and once aimed does it stay in the correct position? I.E. how much dish adjusting takes place over the course of a season? 2. Will new cables need to be run into the home (and throughout) from outside, or can I somehow splice into my current dish network lines with some sort of selector? 3. Is there a chance that the satellite feed will be cut off in the forseeable future, or will I likely be watching FSSN programming for the long term? Thanks!
