The current constitution doesn't say UND has to be known as the Fighting Sioux so they won't revert back to it during the days leading up to the new vote. Since this is not about the state law its about the constitution, and until the constitution is changed (only by a vote of the people) the Fighting Sioux name will stay in retirement.

Even if it did show up on a ballot ND residents will vote no. 67% of the voters didn't make a mistake the first time. Putting this on the ballot is just a waste of print.

Is UND's schedule all done or are they adding teams to it?

I heard with the Midco deal Cable One was trying to work something out to get games shown on their channel like when UND was using the UNDSN (FSSN). I hope they do or else I have to rely on Fox College Sports, radio, or Big Sky Tv on the internet.

Does anyone know if Cable One in Fargo will be carring any UND games? I know they were trying to work something out but I never heard what happened.

It is a good place to eat. The dessert is awesome a huge chocolate volcano. YUM!!!! For pizza I loved Carbone's Pizza. And the best burger I ate was at Turtle's in Shakopee. Their cowabunga burger was so huge!!!!

When I went to Aakers from 95-97 (graduated the night of the infamous ice storm), we used to eat lunch at The Hub. Good food. Glad to know they are still open.

This is good stuff. I know the excitement level of UND football is definately going to return and if the SDSoM's game isn't into the 9-10k in attendance, I know that next week (Potato Bowl Week) the rafters should be filled with at least 11-12k. This is the start of our run in the FCS. All DI games count towards a playoff berth, a National Title is NOW our ultimate goal. Our turn starts NOW!

Does this have the making of a playoff team? If not this season then maybe next season?

I wouldn't laugh most DI teams do eventually play non DI teams if not NDSU wouldn't have beaten Montana, and we wouldn't have beaten UNI.

If NDSU had DI hockey of course UND would play them, if MSUM had DI hockey UND would play them why?? The win counts in the standings, RPI, etc. Does it do any good to play Mayville State or Jamestown in DI basketball...no why? Because they are NOT DI. Does it count to play UND in football yes because it would be a DI win. So don't give me this it wouldn't benefit NDSU BS. As long as Gene Taylor is at NDSU they will never meet in the regular season and I think everyone at UND knows this and I think the president at NDSU knows this as well. I do hope NDSU is in such a pickle they have no choice but to try to get UND on the schedule or get a DII game....then have Brain Faison tell GT "sorry Gene I tried but you f*ed around on the idea have fun playing Sioux Falls".

Can anyone attend practices like sit in the stands or do you have to peak from behind the bars on the northside of the stadium?

I think UND should have moved up with NDSU and SDSU. We could have been kicking their @ss for the past 8 years in DI, not trying to play catch-up.

I see Molberg being our starter next year as a Freshman (if he doesn't get his shirt pulled this season).
