Nick Mattson had 2 assists and a goal during the shoot out to help his team win tonight. He looked good. Lots of coaches from around the country, a few parents and my wife and I all decked out in our Sioux jackets! Saw Coach Eades and Parise's dad there too. Great to see some hockey again!
-
I just called the ticket office again and she said, "Keep checking fightingsioux.com ".
-
Ok class remember showing up for school and your teacher announces,
-
I see that Nick Mattson is on the Navy team and their first game is Tuesday, July 8th at 6:45 pm on the main rink.

I'm going for sure on Monday. Been hot here all weekend so would be nice to cool off in the NHC, and I really need some hockey now. Thanks again for the tip.
-
Thanks for the info. If I ever need any info this is the best website! The St.Clown Times doesn't even have this information. I'll go down and watch some games this week. I wonder if our coaching staff will be down to look at some of these kids?

I wish they would keep SCSU on the schedule. They always have a good team here in St.Cloud and it gives the Sioux fans in this area a chance to see them. SCSU has already released their schedule and we're not on it which bums me out.
-
They did something like that here in St.Cloud for women's bb and it was poorly attended, and in talking to a couple of players, they hated it because it disrupted their whole routine for that day and the day after.
-
In addition to having a great fan base at home I think it's also impressive to see so many Sioux fans when the team plays on the road. Last season I went to games in Mankato, St.Cloud, Duluth and in Wisconsin and we had an outstanding following. Also must add that the large number of Sioux fans that show up to watch all the home games on the tv at a local sports bar here in St. Cloud and also down in Mesa, Arizona. My wife and I were down in Az last Feb. and we were glad we arrived early to the sports bar in Mesa because it was packed with Sioux fans all decked out in their jerseys! Go Sioux!
-
Do you think the Sioux will keep St.Cloud State on their schedule in the future as an early non conference game after 2008?

ASK= Ask, Seek, Knock "Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives; he who seeks finds; and to him who knocks, the door will be opened. I'm in a men's Bible study and I have sent this to information about your son to them. We are praying for him and my wife's home church in China are also lifting him up in prayer. I'm also putting this in our local churches prayer list. Thank comfort in knowing the Lord is hearing from many people asking for help for your son.

Last year they went on sale the first week in August. I just called the REA and she said that it would be a little later this year and she hasn't even heard yet. She said to call back later this summer and keep checking. 701-777-4689.

I am bored too so I took an old waterbed frame and turned it into a cool looking locker to display items in that is now in my basement. It has a place for a bench which I have Sioux items on and also a top shelf which I put a game worn signed UND hockey helmet on. I'm using a pole that goes in between the sides to hang my jersey on that I wear to the games. If I figure out how to add a photo to this site I will post it. Other than that I'm planning a trip to GF for the Oshie golf tourney in July and looking for stuff on ebay to have many of the pros to sign.

I went to the SCSU ( I live in St. Cloud), Mankato and UMD series last year and enjoyed them all. Duluth is a nice city and the games this year will be before Thanksgiving . The Mankato series is in Oct. and that would be a good one too. I had friends from Los Angeles that come out each year and from now on they are coming to series that is earlier because you can never know with the weather. Last year I bought up 16 tickets for the SCSU series and will get extras again. Keep my name handy and if you're out then, send me a message. Go Sioux!

He was working at the youth hockey camp this past weekend @ the REA along with Oshie. Great to see these guys helping with these camps. The kids love it.
-
Is he over his injury yet? That might be why he's not listed.
-
WoNDERFUL WoNDERFUL! I have a feeling that we will keep everyone else that is on the current roster. What makes this really nice is that he is letting the coaching staff know early and I expect the others might follow suit.

M EMORIES... 2 MANY 2 MENTION

I hope he does come back to UND. I have heard through a friend that works with the hockey team that this young man has a lot of character and is a great person. He has worked very hard in the rehab from the injuries.

Thanks for 3 years of playing Sioux Hockey. Whenever I see #7 on a sweater, I'll think of you playing hard.

The home church I attended while there was shut down by the police the week after I left to travel to the NE part of China. It was interesting to see the censorship on the internet there. Doing a google search in China and in the USA, you come up with some big differences, ie Tiananmen Square. I was however able to check this website while there so I was thankful! On an interesting note: When my wife and I were on a train up near her home town which is close to Russia we were in the same train car as a group traveling from Russia. The Russians had a Chinese guide which spoke Russian and Chinese. I wanted to see if the Russians were hockey fans so in English I asked my wife to ask the guide in Chinese who translated it to Russian if they were hockey fans. It was really fun because they were and of course they had to talk about the Olympic success of their program. It made the 12 hour ride more fun to talk with them but I think the guide was bored with the conversation! -

I wanted to play last summer in this but was in China. I think I'll try to sign up for it this year since I'll be around. -
I was hoping that they would keep SCSU on their schedule but the Huskies have already posted their schedule and the Sioux are not on it.
