I'm going to his game when they play Elk River on the 26th of January. Should be fun to see him in action.

I'm wondering if the Gopher radio guys will give all 3 stars to Gopher players again tonight ! Kangas was the 3rd star of last night's game. That's what happened last night.

Motzko (head cold) wasn't on the ice for practice on Monday at the National Hockey Center. He stood in the bench area for a few minutes, leaving through the final fall semester grades for his players, though, and the results made him feel better. Everyone remained eligible for the spring semester, including junior goalie Jase Weslosky, who had been suspended because of academic issues for two games on SCSU's recent trip to the Florida College Classic. Motzko said Weslosky had "got himself in hot water" but was able to recover.

Ok, that makes sense. I just like to have the Sioux come to town and beat up on the Huskies and not have to drive four hours to see it!

If they still need games I would still like to see the Sioux play SCSU in St. Cloud. It's an easy drive from GF and gives all the alum from the Twin Cities and here a chance to see the Sioux again in the fall. Or how about D2 national champion UMD in Duluth? These would be a step up from NAIA schools.

SIOUX WIN tonight over Wayne State. End of ot the score was 3-3. UND got the lone goal during the shootout!

SIOUX won today vs. RPI in overtime! We went to the game and they fought hard. Looking forward to seeing them again on Saturday.

This is what the paper said today about the it. Link "Lucia has made only one brief appearance this week at the rink because of an undisclosed medical problem. Whether Lucia returns tonight depends on his health. "He is not sure how he will be feeling, what [Friday] will bring," said John Hill, one of Lucia's two assistant coaches. "He's hopeful he will show up and sit in the press box."

Arrgh! You're right. Sorry Sioux fans. Was great to see Greene however play. Got a chance to see Hale in between periods. Now that I'm sure of.

We played something like that when I was in second grade and we called it "Lummy Sticks." Mrs. Mathison said I was the best at it too!

I'm not sure if this was posted or not but Jase Weslosky did not make the trip as the goalie for SCSU to the tourney in Florida. Word has it that he might be out for the season with bad grades. I know that was a huge issue this past summer for him too and up until August they weren't even sure he'd start the season. Back up goalie Dunn was the starter for the games this past weekend.

Last night my wife and I got a chance to see two former Sioux in action. The Kings with Matt Greene and Phoenix were playing here in AZ. Got to see Porter in action too. Between periods we met Hale who didn't dress for the game that night. I'll post some photos of the game when I get back to MN. We wore our Sioux jackets and got lots of praise from many people here in AZ country.

I dontated $100 in your name to the Human Fund in honor of Festivas. We just finished decorating the pole too! Merry Christmas to all.

I hope when Joe takes the ice for the first time it's a constant cheer of "FINLEY.(clap, clap)...FINLEY!" the whole time he's on his shift. I would use this game too to try some different things and for sure to give some guys that haven't played much some time on the ice.

Thanks... good to know. I've got a 3 day weekend and can take that Friday off so that would be a fun trip. I could then add the state of Michigan on to my list of states I've been to. 42 so far and my goal is 50 before 50. Only 3 years to go!
