I did the "What If" calculator prior to this weekend and I have us winning the title with 41 points. Of the top 5 teams as of today, I think UND, Denver and Minny have the best schedules remaining and Wisconsin and CC have the toughest IMO. I'll post this on the tickets section but I think I may have 3 extra tickets for Friday's game here in St. Cloud.

This is the weekend I look forward to all year due to living in St. Cloud. The Clowns are really up and down this season. Had a scoring fest with the Gophers a week ago Saturday and then got 3 points from CC. I believe we are deeper than they are on all 4 lines and I foresee a sweep here for the Sioux. They have a few guys that are dinged up .They had 3 guys not make the trip to CC due to injuries,(Michael Olson, Craig Gaudet ,Jared Festler). The Sioux fans travel well and I know we'll have a lot of people at this year's contest. Not sure if the annual protesters will show up to greet us. They missed all 4 games that the Sioux women played here earlier this year!

I like our chances of a sweep considering they took 4 points from Mich Tech and we took 3 one week prior to us. Also the Clowns from St. Cloud were able to sweep these guys in mid Nov. gives me confidence we can come out on top. We'll have to play tough no doubt but I think we're on the second half surge. Would be great to see us in first place in this league considering where we've been earlier.

(Denver took 4 points from Mich. Tech )Denver swept Michigan Tech last weekend 4-3 in OT and 3-1. Those games were played in Denver too.

4 points for us next weekend could put us in 1st place with U of M and Wisconsin idle I believe. Let's do it!

I'm wondering if the Gopher radio guys will give all 3 stars to Gopher players again tonight ! Kangas was the 3rd star of last night's game. That's what happened last night.

Motzko (head cold) wasn't on the ice for practice on Monday at the National Hockey Center. He stood in the bench area for a few minutes, leaving through the final fall semester grades for his players, though, and the results made him feel better. Everyone remained eligible for the spring semester, including junior goalie Jase Weslosky, who had been suspended because of academic issues for two games on SCSU's recent trip to the Florida College Classic. Motzko said Weslosky had "got himself in hot water" but was able to recover.

Ok, that makes sense. I just like to have the Sioux come to town and beat up on the Huskies and not have to drive four hours to see it!

If they still need games I would still like to see the Sioux play SCSU in St. Cloud. It's an easy drive from GF and gives all the alum from the Twin Cities and here a chance to see the Sioux again in the fall. Or how about D2 national champion UMD in Duluth? These would be a step up from NAIA schools.

SIOUX WIN tonight over Wayne State. End of ot the score was 3-3. UND got the lone goal during the shootout!

SIOUX won today vs. RPI in overtime! We went to the game and they fought hard. Looking forward to seeing them again on Saturday.

Whether Lucia returns tonight depends on his health. "He is not sure how he will be feeling, what [Friday] will bring," said John Hill, one of Lucia's two assistant coaches.
