The latest update said that he has feeling in all extremities, which is good to hear. Hoping for a full recovery for Jesse! Martin is a senior...unless he can get a medical hardship waiver like Bina/Genoway.

Split. Agreed with above, if we get more than two points, I'd be happy. UMD is better than DU this year, and we only got 2 points against DU at home. Also, will the WCHA suspend Malone for his hit on Martin? I wouldn't have thought twice about him being suspended yesterday, but now that you read the prognosis on Martin, I wouldn't be surprised if the WCHA took action on him.

I believe it died off at about the same time as the Gopher's team did.

Agreed. If the Sioux can rattle him early either game, there's really nothing Gwoz can do. I can't imagine him pulling the goalie and putting a 3rd string goalie into the game that's never played a minute of NCAA hockey.

Doesn't Seth Jones' brother go to Denver now? I think I read that he is a freshman this year, but is having issues getting NCAA approval or something, so he hasn't played a game yet.

I could see JT Miller being a 2012 recruit instead of 2011. If we're still in the running for Michaelson (like it sounds we are), then I imagine he wouldn't come until 2013 as well since he is still only a junior in HS...finish out HS and then a year of juniors potentially. Should be interesting. Nice to have all these talented players incoming regardless.

Wow! Hak and Co are on fire with all these USNTDP recruits!! Nicely done!! Considering that we lose 4 forwards to graduation and potentially another 2 forwards to early departures, I think there is room for everyone. I still think Mattson will be coming to UND in the fall.

I wouldn't mind seeing that line combo. Hextall is a grittier player too, would fit in better on the third line and he would still be a scoring threat. Something like this: 19 Evan Trupp
