Sad to say, but I think the team has one more win and one more tie left in them this regular season. The way I see it going down is: Loss tonight, split w/ Miami, then a loss & tie (play up to the level we expect) vs SCSU. On the road for the 1st round and lose in 3 games to miss the NCHC tourney for the first time and miss the NCAA's. I'd love for them to prove me wrong, but this team hasn't shown much during the 2nd half so I'm not expecting to be surprised.

How freakin empty is the Xcel going to be this year when UND doesn't make it? Ouch. SCSU and UMD will bring their small group of fans, but it's going to look marginally better than the B10 tourney with all those empty seats.

Would like to see Adams. He seemed to have good offensive talent earlier in this season. And UND will need it against this UNO squad. Good to see Thome get rewarded with another game. Split! UNO has been good at home.

I always think of that DU team that beat us in Colorado Springs in that regional final (2004?). I remember UND just crushing them in the regular season (like 8-2, 6-2 type games). Then a 1-0 regional final and they run the NCAA table and then repeat again the next year. This UND team has shown potential to play with anybody. They just can’t do it consistently so having it happen 4 games in a row seems hard to imagine. Plus they need to make the darn tourney first.
