  1. I think Frattin deserves the Hobey this season. That said, I wouldn't be surprised if it is given to Miami's Andy Miele. He's put up a ton of points in a good conference.
  2. Tie game. Need to keep the pressure on.
  3. No. I don't think that Tech will beat UND in the next four games. But I'm just saying that anything is possible in the WCHA.
  4. Anything is possible. Did you honestly think that DU would lose to MTU just a couple weeks ago?
  5. Posted by Priceless on USCHO: In order for UND to be the #1 overall seed (in other words, to pass Yale):
  6. We'd be the Gophers then.
  7. Nice win Sioux! Is there any chance for Dartmouth to jump over the Sioux for the NCAA's if they lose to UW?
  8. Video should be working now. Gregoire on the PP. 1-0 UND
  9. Tickets are sold! Thanks!

Great seats, first row of the 2nd level right behind the net. Sitting next to other Sioux fans. Asking face value. PM me if interested!
  11. This.
  12. I think getting the #1 seed for the WCHA playoffs is key. One, you get a trophy/banner. Two, the jump in team skill from MTU in 12th to SCSU/MSUM/BSU in 11th is pretty substantial. I would much rather play MTU in the 1st round than either of those three teams. Even though we'd be playing MTU 4-5 games in a row...still better than finishing 2nd. Third, you avoid the Thursday night games at the Final Five. At most you have to play two games in the Final Five, saving some energy for the following weekend's regionals. Last year the Sioux just depleted themselves down the stretch. While it was awesome watching them win the Broadmoor, all those games in 9 days really hampered them in their game against Yale IMO.
  13. Has anyone watched a B2 webcast from SCSU? Just wondering the quality before I plunk down $7... Thanks!
  14. If the Sioux are there, I'll be there. If not, I think I'll have to pass unfortunately due to travel/work requirements.
  15. Prognosis negative according to Dr. Motzko!
  16. Even if he only stays here one year, he's going to be a very special player. I'm glad that he is coming to UND rather than going to a different college or the MJ route. Plus, not even JToews left after a year. I wouldn't be surprised if he stayed two years at UND. Otherwise he'd just be leaving to play in the AHL.
  17. Agreed. I'm not worrying too much about what the tickets look like. That was so last year anyway.
  18. We're talking about a banner here. I'm all for having Minnesota beat Denver this weekend if it means that UND has a better shot of winning the MacNaughton in their last year of being the Sioux. Plus, I feel that Denver has been a more spirited rival for UND in the last few seasons anyway...
  19. No doubt. Rocco is like 2 inches shorter than Duncan, he'll be here for two years at least...I wouldn't be surprised with three. Unless he wants to play in the AHL instead, but even then he'd have to put on some muscle weight first.
  20. Kristo
  21. Agreed on all counts. Let's hope for good news on the Genoway injury front. As much criticism as he took the last two weeks, his play would bolster UND's chances of having a deep postseason run. UAA at home is a must sweep. We've had our difficulties sweeping WCHA opponents at home...none since SCSU in December. If we want to be positioned for the MacNaughton at the end of the season, four points is critical.
  22. Looks like Gwoz's plan didn't work out on that one.
  23. Thanks, as always, Jim!
