Sounds like everyone practiced yesterday so I would anticipate at least 1-2 Cagguila highlight reel goals this weekend.

I put Thompson at #9 just because he's only going to get better and is still so young. I would guess that if we made this list a year from now he'd jump a few spots. I debated with substituting Ausmus in for either MacMillan or Parks...just wasn't sure which one. Hard to say which one will do better in the NHL. Right now I'd say Parks just because of his work along the boards and excellent reach, but who knows.

If UND ends up #1, they will play Robert Morris in the 1st round (or whoever the AHA auto bid is). Still a ton of season to be played. UND could end up as #1 overall or slip to a #2 seed. UMN could end up out of the tourney or as a #3 seed...who knows. Will be interesting to see how this tourney shapes up.

Go WMU! A WMU puts UND alone in 1st of the NCHC. UMN/UM score is surprising. Either someone lit a fire under UMN's skates or UM is having a bad game. I honestly wasn't that impressed with UMN last weekend against OSU so this is surprising.

I think he was referring to while they are at school. Both schools have a great pool of talented players in the NHL, that's no surprise. But look at a guy like Rau. He was a very, very good freshman and sophomore. By now he should be a Hobey candidate type of player. What happened to him along the way?

I don't think Boeser is a recruit we have to worry about losing to the WHL. Why go through all this of committing to UW, reopening his recruitment, and then visiting UMN, UW, and UND before committing again...only to go north?
