Updated Commit Stats as of Mar 18: Simpson 3rd in USHL points (in the middle of two Miami recruits Loomer & Seelinger), 3rd in goals, and 5th in assists Good to see McKamey getting some more points as the season nears the end...he is 2-3-5 in his last 5gp Removed O'Neill from the list shortly after the Pilgrim de-commit as well...anxiously waiting to see who Bryn has lined up for those open forward spot(s) if they had wanted to push those two guys back. I'm guessing it'll be a couple studs. Forwards B. Schultz (USHL Sioux Falls) - '05: 54gp - 23g/20a A. I was reading a bunch on X too that were saying similar. A few UMN fans seem to get that in order for them to be more successful in the new environment that they'll need to expand their recruiting...but most are so stuck on that 95%+ need to be MN players. If they hire a GM as one of their coaches, I can only imagine being essentially handcuffed to one state for the vast majority of your recruiting. Part of me thinks it would take them years to gain those relationships with Canadian coaches, players, etc to even recruit well up north. They've been so anti-Canadian for so many years, can't see many CHL players really being interested in going there.

This portal tracker seems nicely laid out along with notes. SCSU goalie Gray entered now, he only played one game. https://www.apx-hockey.com/news-detail-83

What a shocker. Play UMD in the playoffs, and they injure one of our players. It happens far too often for it to be just a coincidence at this point. -

I guess not since no game this weekend? -

Congrats to Dane on getting Coach of the Year! -
Hopefully Keaton is putting in the good word for UND to Landon when they talk.

Nice congrats to Cole! He had a great FR season...with hopefully more to come. Can't wait to see how he progresses in his Soph season. -
If UND is there, I'll see you there.
-
Don't see this happening for UND, but would be interesting to see if he enters the portal.
-
Dane was a forward.
-
And now the Boisvert signing is official as well.
-
Dang. Now that’s some full circle stuff.
-
Slight chance of Dartmouth or Cornell at #7 too. We'll see what happens next weekend!
-
According to Prob Matrix, UMD can only finish 5, 7, or 8.
-
Looks like there's a 21% chance UMD is in SF with us. 44% chance they end up #5 and get paired with WMU. 35% chance they end up #8 and get paired with Mich.
-
In a one-n-done NCAA format, I would want Liv, Wiebe, Z, and Emery as our top 4 dmen for TOI. Def not the best game for KV tonight.
-
And, if UMD beats DU next weekend, that might move them to #5 which would mean they'd be paired with WMU. Still some pieces to move around for sure.
-
It's already looking like 2 NCHC teams will be in at least one regional. WMU and DU at 4 & 5 puts them together in Loveland.
-
If we end up #2 overall, bracket integrity would put the 2nd lowest 2-seed in our bracket, which would be #7. That's where UMD was after their win tonight. But Providence losing dropped them to #7 and UMD up to #6. So...with true bracket integrity if it works out...UMD would be in #3 overall's bracket. Some things might still move around a bit with conf champs next weekend, but we appear locked in at #2 right now.

Too far.

If today's game was being played in the NCAA tournament, I'm guessing UND would have had two 5min PP's.
