In other news, UND wins 6-1 over SCSU tonight in the first game of their series.

And he's going back to the freshman goalie Blankenburg that played against us on Friday at REA too. He's played 3 games all season. Dean's always one to add some drama!

Weird lineup for UNO. The big line that killed us on Friday night at the Ralph (Taco, Guentzel, Randolph) are all on different lines tonight. Taco is on the 4th line! Wonder what he did to get in the dog house.

There's just so many other things going on tonight in the Cities!

I think UND wins 3 of their last 4 and SCSU wins out. SCSU with the #1 seed, UND with the #2 seed and play WMU on back to back weekends to end the regular season and for the first round of the playoffs. I'd love to be proven wrong though and to have SCSU drop one (or two) against UMD next weekend.

QU again cuts it close...gets lucky again, beating RPI in OT. 8 of their last 11 games have gone to OT.

They have a pretty "easy" remaining schedule as well. One more game w/ CC, then series against WMU and UNO.

Isn't Farley (one of) the instigators on their team? I forget which one was annoying me in the our last series with all the dives and hacks after the whistle.

I pray we don't have to play Michigan in the NCAA's. With our "opposing team top line issues", that Connor/Compher/Motte (CCM Line ) would light us up good. Motte has 27 goals and Connor has 22 goals...yowzers. Should be an interesting week of practice. I'm anxious to see how the team responds at home against Duluth. Not a good weekend, but we can hope that they put it past them and get ticked off to go on a run. Go Sioux/Hawks.

For those keeping track at home, the ENG was Gambrell from Heinen. Another 2 pts for their top line. I think that makes 37 pts for them this series.

Hopefully they can go without getting swept on the road again for another 5 years....
