I see the Census Bureau released new estimates for ND, with the population gaining to almost 800,000. They also released numbers for Burliegh County and Imperial Cass as well as Williams and McKenzie Counties. What I'm wondering is where are the numbers for the rest of the ND counties? They obviously know them since they have a statewide number. Once again it will be the "Haves" versus the "Have Nots" and just like the D2 days the Have Nots will want to keep the numbers as low as possible. I even wonder about the MVFC, outside of the Dakota 4, the rest don't take football seriously. Too many Murray State equivalents.

Some people still don't think FCS is watered down even if the rest of us think so. For next year I'm seeing 7-5 most likely with a small chance of 8-4.

I figure that no news on this front is good news.

But after the 3 Dakota schools and one Montana school things drop off fast. There are more Murray State doormats now then there are top FCS programs.

That's not much of a goal. Geez, I'd expect more even in the first year. FCS is watered down. I'd hope for a first round bye or two wins, minimum.

Buning didn't hire Mussman. It was done by the interim or I think it was co-interims after Buning was moved out.

There's nothing to leak when there's no news. I'm thinking there's a fair amount of second guessing going on as to whom it should be. Hopefully it's because there are several very qualified men.
