Well Bubba said something like it was all noise and he wasn't paying attention to it. A week later he was gone.

It will be interesting to see how the recruiting battles play out in the next 9 months. Anyone can offer a high end recruit. The trick is to get them over other big name schools, especially the ones with FBS offers. I think we are on the right path but the turnaround isn't going to happen overnight.

With football I've always heard that it was fatal to have a lame duck coach when it came to recruiting. Wouldn't hockey be the same way? Wasn't that Chaves excuse for always giving Bubba an undeserved extension?

I was just going to post the exact same thing. Berry will win just enough to keep going and Chaves won't do anything. I'm sure it won't take much because he can't afford another $450,000 on top of Bubba's $750,000.

IIRC Hedberg was on the SIU staff when Bubba was there and went to NDSU at about the same time Bubba went to UND. Maybe Bubba should have brought him here. Hedberg definitely did some good things at NDSU.
