Any chance we can get a school to steal Bubba away from here?

I thought reality would have hit when he got his ass handed to him by UND.

I talked to an NDSU guy before Entz left and he was to the point he was hoping Roehl would leave or be replaced. Everyone was tired of Roehl running the same QB run up the gut. He probably got pushed out by the new Bison guy.

Don't say that or Chaves will think that Bubba will turn things around eventually if given enough time. Yes Gattuso did turn that program around after ten years of failure.

But you can't keep doing the same thing and expect different results and that's what keeps happening.

More likely Klieman goes to Washington and then our old friend Gene Taylor hires Bubba at K State. Especially if Roger Thomas asks Taylor to do that.

SDSU went to the SD Legislature and had the law changed so they could give Stig multi year contracts. They claimed it hurt recruiting, they wanted to reassure the kids that the coach would be around longer. No way does Bubba get to work to the end of his contract in 2025. He's either going to be fired or get extended just because of recruits.

If only we had hired DeBoer, then Bubba might now be the new Alabama coach.

Idaho State was 3-8 last year. I know Indiana State was an ugly win for UND, but geez we'd better win those two at least along with wins against Murray and San Diego. But I'd ink South Dakota as a loss.

For those that think Bubba is going to see the writing on the wall and retire after next year, I'm betting he won't. No way is Bubba leaving $265,000 on the table and that's what he gets for 2025 if he get fired. That's a hell of a nice early retirement gift.

I was never excited about a Danny move up. If you're going to start over, then start over with a clean slate, not Bubba 2.0. Or is it Mussman 2.1?

But look at Danny's lineage. How many times has the word "inbred" been used to describe the problems at UND? He seems pretty attached to Bubba at the hip.
