Creating a new position just means we still pay and are creating another level of bureaucracy. If he's not retained as coach then pull a Mussman and fire Bubba. Pay the buyout and get it over with. What does a new position do unless you eliminate someone else to offset?

I'll believe it when I see it. As I've said before, the Bison have been barking up the FBS tree for years and nothing happens. I doubt anything becomes of this either.

To steal a line from Sicatoka about playing devils advocate here. I'm not sticking up for Bubba, BUT I'm sure someone could produce pictures like that of me sitting in church. I do close my eyes and listen. I'm not sleeping but sometimes it just hard to keep the eyes wide open. I was more shocked about the picture at first then I am now. I'd really like to know the circumstances and who took them.

I had assumed you'd pay the buyout. Wouldn't even need the rest of the GOBC. Ha ha.

But they are the first ones hit up for money. I know someone who is fairly well off and donates. He was called the day Mussman was canned and was asked about donating. I don't know if he donated or not and I didn't ask. It seemed like a sensitive subject and he didn't volunteer.

I figure by the end of the season he's got 3 years left, so $825,000 x .75% means about $619,750 but maybe I'm doing it wrong.

I agree that it should have been given the Chaves or Armicoste and no one else. Bad publicity for the program.
