Buning didn't hire Mussman. It was done by the interim or I think it was co-interims after Buning was moved out.

I don't see UND moving Bubba to another position. First off, they'd have to create a new job for him and they'd have to fund it. Second is Bubba is under contract and has to agree to it and why would he when he's guaranteed $750,000 with what he has. Actually he's getting even more if he coaches to the end.

So FBS is limited to 85 schollies and I've been under the impression they can't do partials like FCS, so the rest of the players were all getting nothing except maybe some NIL money?

Why would the OC deliberately play the worst QB? That makes no sense. Now if you're saying the OC made a horrible decision and didn't seem to understand who was better, that I could understand.

All that's left to decide is which assistants get to be sacrificial lambs. Bubba isn't going anywhere, don't kid yourself.

I may be wrong but as far as I can tell, no 7-5 team made the playoffs this year, so even if we win the YSU and ISUb games, we still come up one short. Still no excuse for this.

Next year I'm seeing 7-5 with loses to K State, Montana, NDSU, SDSU, and USD. We have Youngstown and Indiana State at home so Bubba will pull out close wins there. Going 7-5 with a possible playoff bid and loss on the road will be all the justification Chaves needs.

Committee just wants NDSU in Frisco because they can sell more tickets and more Bud Light. You know it's true.

If we don't hear news by noon Monday about Bubba's imminent departure it's safe to say he's around for another year.
