Okay, let's not pull a Kennedy and bash him in social media. Losing Jones would be tough on our program. He is a great recruiter and the players relate to him. He took UND to the next level and deserves to take the step to the next level. We would miss him but would also wish him well.

What about "improving the fan experience", there was decent fan participation when UND made it an event, definitely something they could build on. Now it is nothing, holding it on a Friday almost makes it seem they don't want people to come. Chaves needs to step in.

Some people just don't know when to shut up - he was more than half way out the door and then someone had to screw it up (I guess it could have been him with his post). Perhaps we need some glowing posts and pleading for him to not leave to show up on social media.

Some people just interview well - sarcasm. The ND Board of Education is very dysfunctional and proven that hiring high level positions by a disconnected committee doesn't work.

It is still disappointing that UND does not have the will to make the final spring ball scrimmage more of an event for the fans. It must be intentionally since other schools have figured it out. Lost opportunity.

Too bad they didn't dig a little deeper for the rest of Gino's story - after four years of school his having to pass 16 credits in a summer to graduate doesn't seem like someone who is interested in a graduate program.

You grow up living life as a Sioux fan, thinking you can always fit in with the student section, always holler at games, tailgating with the young bucks, knowing some day it will end but knowung you are always a Fighting Sioux to the end and beyond. P.S i have donated my body to the UND Medical School something I suggest others look into.

What does sharing a rumor, "i heard from a guy who heard from a guy" or unnamed sources do? Can you site your source?

In our area it is adults doing the delivery, because the routes have become so long, the days of the paperboy on the bike are gone.

They will find a way to write a "where are they now" story on "the girl who flew into Grand Forks on the day the program was cut".

I will say you are very good at coming up with so many ways to share that you do not like Coach Jones. Maybe it is time for change, but this won't make it happen just creates a poor reflection on student athletes.

My thoughts is the season pass should not charge for November 23.

Perhaps UND doesn't have that much control over the schedule but jeez two games in November and only one in September? Also UND should not be charging us for tailgating spots in November, at least not for November 23. Highly unlikely those days will be good for tailgating. Yes there will be hardcore tailgaters but the reality is 90% won't be tailgating.

Love how some bison fans are in the tourney but they still can't stay away from UND fan sites. Jan Brady U continues to earn their name.

From the games I watched Daum got the benefit of the doubt from refs throughout the season.

Better silver lining - it shows that a team can turn things around pretty fast with just one or two players (and that the best team doesn't always win the tourny).

Where was Minnesota pairwise last year before losing in the first round of their playoffs? How many pitchforks and torches would come out if UND was #8 in pairwise going into conference tourny and didn't make the playoffs?
