Fair is fair - be consistent - Aztecs should go, along with Utes, Seminoles, Chippewa, whatever else is left out there - but of course it is just easier to pick on a small school in North Dakota and move on.

I think it is a generational thing as far as student attendance. Free bus ride, free tailgating and usually some kind of free hand-out - much more than was available when games were at Memorial Stadium (of course then they could walk over pie-eyed). Plus spread the word that all they have to do is walk through tailgate alley and start up conversations and they will be very welcomed with food and if they are legal an adult beverage. Do we need to start putting up signs on our tailgate rigs that say "Students Welcome"?

Nice to have so many FU trolls that they can vouch for each other. Geez now we've got another twenty-something FU troll with time on his hands - I now have 2 pages of FU trolls on ignore. It is hard to believe there isn't something more usetul to spend time on then another team's fan site prowling all day - something lacking in an FU education it appears. This is the kind of discussion that would be more fun if we didn't have trolls running back to their cronies - I bet a week's pay there are comments on this over on bison-swille. It is fun to positively speculate - after the Missouri game many thought this team could go 1 - 11.

I watched Ratelle the whole way - very questionable late hit call he was less than half step away - clean upper body hit on a quarterback that was out of the pocket. No way he was celebrating that the player was hurt - not that kinda player and not that kinda team.

It was a great game to have recruits at. The crowd was in it and recruits can see that the program is headed in the right direction.

I'm going to buy a cattle ranch and call it this - don't think many of the cattle will make it past branding time.

They've thrown "Spirit" out there a lot. Of course it couldn't be "Spirit of the Sioux" and perhaps even the smallest hint that "Spirit" relates to Sioux might be enough to kill it. The "North Dakota Spirit" has been used around the state in various capacities over the years.

Fun name to throw out but no way they choose a name that tweaks the nose of the NCAA (not saying I don't like it just saying reality says we are in for a name that is very well researched so as not to offend anyone. I say the writing is on the wall for the North Dakota Spirit.)

Read once that the worst way to predict the outcome of an upcoming game is the outcome of the previous game. Still thinking it's one game at a time and each one is gonna be a battle that we will be the underdog in - just wanting to see continued improvement. I'm going to enjoy all aspects of this season, the best is yet to come.

After the Pick Six combined with the meager offensive output I can't think of any reason not to give Bartles a chance. I know there are issues with the offensive line but why not give him some prime time playing time?

NO ONE had this game down as a winnable one this year - we have seen improvements over last year - wonder how long it will take the trolls to come over here and quote some of the comments elsewhere as once more proof of their superiority.

Perhaps Mussman has a perpetual issue with making decisions on quarterbacks - they lost an all conference one from last year so are dealing with rotating between a transfer drop down and a rookie (not sure what year but he had taken few snaps last year). St. Cloud is middle of the pack - blows out the lower tier and gets blown out by the upper tier. They play the Upper Iowa Peacocks this weekend (I'd rather be playing Montana and facing a blow out than the Peacocks and a romp). Saw a story that his two sons are on one of the St. Cloud high school teams - one playing tight end, one playing on the line.

Another example of that world class education.
