The chairman of the FCS Selection Committee said in a podcast last year that losing to an FBS team does not affect your selection possibility, winning would help of course. Then again there is the "Montana Clause" which means if you are Montana nothing else matter.

I am all in on the helmet and tunnel camera, someone must have thought it was an issue.

Sad that every thread becomes a defending Tommy because of a few uneducated. Tommy does so much that goes unnoticed. Examples -there are numerous snaps that are low, wide, high that he just naturally adjusts to and no one notices, swing passes are automatic (wasn't that long ago they weren't), he's hitting at 70%. He could have been playing for Ferris State (which won the last two DII championships). Losing our #1 QB recruit at the last minute, during COVID, we were very fortunate to get him and it was without an onsite visit.

Broken record here but it still comes down to OL and DL. Both of those teams looked rock solid and big, not saying we can't "any given Sunday" them and we are moving in the right direction.

Drake was supposed to be a walk - mission accomplished. We had 10 different players catch a pass, we had a 100 yard rusher. We had three running backs rip off long runs. We had 31 players see the field. Comparative scores are useless, different day, different game. Special teams won us at least one game last year, if not more. Three aspects to every game - offense, defense, special teams - win two of them and you most likely win the game. I see us winning offense and special teams at least. We win by at least two scores. Go Hawks!

Agreed, Z brings a strong pedigree and has been waiting his turn. It's okay for fans to be excited IMO.

Check his background he was top tier running back in Minnesota. He's only a sophomore and has lots of upside. Our backfield is looking good for the future.

Gotta think it might be a staffing issue? Who does the in house production team report to - the Alerus, UND? The team stats on the big screen is a huge miss.

Some on here love to drag up trick plays that didn't work (even if it happened more than five years ago) and forget the ones that did. Yes, they are complicated plays where everything needs to go right and it is quite possible that play does not work against a higher level opponent but it makes them think about it and spend some time on the possibility. Love the call, the game should be fun for the players too.

Game logistics always makes you go huh. No game stats on the scoreboard, sound person plays music full blast while the referee is talking, broken water faucets. It's the little things that make the game atmosphere. Kinda bush league.
