Pre season this game was 50/50 on my schedule, NI has a strong home field advantage history. Joining the MVFC puts several drivable away games on the schedule every year. It also replaces meaningless Portland State games with Northern Iowa. There was a great contingency of UND fans at this game. Huge tailgate spot (mostly due to player parents but ordinary fans also, impressive). 8/3 still achievable. I will be at every remaining game as I choose to support the team in person rather than cheap shot on the Internet. Rough game, head scratcher, gotta move on and enjoy the season for what it is - games played by student athletes.

There is a potluck tailgate organized by player's parents. Five hour drive, I'm in.

It's been more than 20 years since UND lost at UNI - just sayin.....

Actually su being owned by UND the last decade in DII was one of the reasons they mooooved up.

By "SU" I meant ndsu.

I like the take but doubt it. UND has good tailgating but SDSU has great tailgating. I was at SU tailgating three years ago and it was bigger than UNDs. UNDs is still run as an afterthought.

If indeed we are witnessing the return of our Oline then I vote "The Oline game".

As UND 360 has said, if you are not appreciating what we have in QB Tommy you are misguided. While he may not win many awards he brings so many intangibles to the team. He is a winner and with our O line starting to develop combined with the play calling, UND is back in the top 10 and the best team in the state. Enjoy him while you can.

Hoping that the comments MVFC Commissioner Patty shared at UND Booster luncheon are followed through on. Basically said that SOS needs to be higher consideration. Biggest challenge is getting the Selection Committee to have more integrity and less back room deals.

Ricky Hager once said "We could go 1-9 as long as that 1 is UND." Next step is to flip the state back to UND.

From my vantage point yes. Appeared he did the splits then limped off. He is enthusiastic, hopefully something that heals quickly and he learns from it.
