As we all know tell me how our lines played and I'll tell you if we won the games. Last year's loss to Indiana State was because of our D. That D is history. This is a three score win at home.

Traveled to the Indiana State game last year, part of the five-game end of the year skid. 2:00 game, showed up for tailgating around 10 a.m. and literally not a soul in sight. Later met up with some of their hardcore tailgaters and was told it's not a football town. We had a decent showing of fans, they had less than 1,000 in attendance. I believe there are at least two former UND coaches on their staff. They do have a 15 foot tall statue of Larry Bird in town.

I am willing to give Dennis the benefit of the doubt, obviously the coaches see value in having him on the field in certain situations. You never know when a veteran player is gonna make a play. Willing to trust the coaches who are at practice everyday.

One person with several nicknames.

I trust the professionals who are at practice everyday.

Looks like it could get a little rough briefly - lightning is the key. Having experienced the extreme lightning storm (and delay) at the UND/Utah State game a few years ago I'm happy I decided to stay home and watch it. Will always remember how the Utah State students stayed in their seats during the hour+ downpour and lightning.

Just not having someone (Larson) constantly ranking us as low as they could justify will help.
-
You don't know me. My point was it's a slippery slope, may be "soft" agreed but there are Universities firing staff for posts just as soft.
-
Never said it was a big deal to me - some are saying it's not good judgement especially if you are on thin ice to begin with.
-
Yes he's allowed his personal opinions, but shouldn't be posted under his UND title. It does make it easier to for fans to make decisions on designating NIL.
-
Look at this year with home games on November 8 and 22nd - could be 50 degrees, could be 15 degrees and snow.
-
Agreed it is a little disrespectful to the band, perhaps they are getting back at them for playing right up until the snap when we have the ball
-
Hockey has The Ralph support staff, football plays in a city building whose primary goal is to find ways to generate revenue from fans.
-
Not that I disagree but for numerous reasons this won't happen. They used to have large dumpsters there for them to at least try to put their beer cans in - not that it stopped most of them from just dropping them in the parking lot. At least they are far enough out that it doesn't disturb most of the tailgaters.
-
Based on recent X posts it just got easier for me to designate my NIL funds to UND teams - it won't be MBB. Bad choices have consequences.
-
Well there were 11,400 in attendance for YSU but we could use some help filling the corners.
-
Explain how it is a dump, have you gone to other facilities in the MVFC? Youngstown State fans were gushing yesterday about what we have.
-
At least twice we had third and short and twice we threw an unsuccessful 15 yard out pattern. That does not appear to be a strength throw for Jerry.
-
Looking at the schedule as predicted if we play to expectations, SIl is the key game. They have an easier schedule going forward and we know losses at the end of the season are taken more serious by the Committee.
-
How could intro get worse! How about when the team is late making its entrance.
-
We lost that game in OT. This year we win by two scores at least.
-
Coach addressed this in UND 360 podcast. The running back room is talented. If you have 52 offensive plays, like we did against UNI, and four quality backs it is tough. I think they each got between 6-8 carriers. Z will get his throughout the season.
-
Learned some interesting stuff from Coach Schmidt on UND 360 podcast today - anyone heard about "the six most dangerous seconds in football" before? Worth a listen.
-
Hustle and defense cn steal us a couple of games plus the locker room is less toxic this year thanks to addition by subtraction.
-
Spot on - kicking it through the end zone is overrated, it is much better to make them catch it inside the five - most of the time we drop them inside the 20.
