  1. Noticed the coverage down south was minimal, except McFeeley making sure Trey knows how much he could possibly make by leaving.
  2. He made the most of his time on the field, just could not crack the line up. Best wishes.
  3. Entry level is $25 a month. We all have higher priorities, but imagine being part of a program that moves UND football to the next level for about $1 a day.
  4. Z might have been nursing an injury the second half of the season.
  5. I am ok being wrong about this.
  6. I'm think no, but if HC finds a place for him that's great. They have no personal relationship, Fruechte was fine but pedigree is short. Wish him the best he will have D1 on his resume and great reviews. He will find a good home easily.
  7. At the booster lunch a few weeks ago he said their goal is that every student athlete would receive some money.
  8. We have a good one, would be happy if he stayed.
  9. Players gonna wait and hear all offers.
  10. This is a feel good event. The answer would be "We are having conversations with the current staff and evaluating our needs going forward."
  11. Just signed up to support the Collective monthly.
  12. Coaching staff meets with every player, not? We can assume some are being encouraged to enter.
  13. Living in this Echo Chamber it would be easy to assume that. I've been out among other groups. Word on the street I hear is our facilities are top notch, our focus on kids getting an education is right on, our support is good, for big games great, our coaching staff is respected.
  14. Some are looking for an education that UND offers.
  15. Thought they handled the OC fiasco well. The Montana game event went well. But I've been told I wear Keely Green glasses.
  16. They predict "mass exodus" every year. Part of their MO.
  17. Too soon to bring him back. I also bet he is happy where he is.
  18. This is what happens when hiring internal overrides hiring the best candidate. I suppose budget also came into play.
  19. He only writes about UND when he finds a negative spin.
  20. If SDSU makes it to Frisco this might be the year to take it in. Especially if Montana State is the opponent as there is another North Dakota connection then. If Moo U makes it I wouldn't drive that far to experience their attitudes.
  21. You really want to give Landry credit for stepping in down south?
  22. #1 I'm fine with what we found #2 couldn't crack the line up, gave up on his team mates. #3 miss him, we'll see how things are in two years #4 good riddance, those that know said it was no big loss.
  23. So if USD was where we are, or even less, about 3-4 years ago what did they do with their roster to build it up to a top five school in three years? I just took a quick look at their 2024 roster and it seems they have a good mix of their own recruits and some portal guys. Getting the QB dropdown from Minnesota was key, but It does seem like we bring in fewer portal guys every year - not sure if that is by design or if they are choosing to go elsewhere. I do see the value of building our own foundation, but USD seems to have found the right mix. I'm also confident that Vermillion does not have that much more to offer than Grand Forks.
  24. I would bet the coaching staff isn't that excited about them - hard to keep the team focused, takes time away from their usual schedule, game really means nothing in the big picture. It's for the fans and as long as the fans support it they will keep doing it. It builds financial support from alumni. Personally, I am 0-2 in the games I've gone to and while Austin is appealing, I'm going to pass this time. I've been to Austin and it will be a great venue for the fans.
  25. UND just hosted an open house for the Memorial Village. They shared that all student athletes will benefit from it. Player-parents, recruits and their parents and current players are excited and energized. Parents of current players are sharing that UND is the best-looking campus in the conference with so much new construction, facilities improvements and focus on their kids getting a great education. Meanwhile there are a dozen Debbie Downers on here that are clueless about what others are seeing. Will we lose some to the portal - no question. It's the new reality. But what UND is building for academics will no doubt build its athletics.
