  1. Obviously, this judge was corrupted by the NC$$ to help perpetuate this racist genocide.
  2. Well, it is the "Say Anything Blog", so you can't accuse him of misrepresenting the forum. Rob has the right to say anything there. Now, if he came out and wrote that he likes to wear dresses and visit the 'SU ag barns on Friday night, who among us can judge him with that statement on his own blog?
  3. Sort of like our paymasters at the NC$$?

    SDSU Jumps In

I'm guessing "unresolved" means if UND is still saddled with the Sioux moniker for any reason and remains on the H&A list, we're not playing SDSU. "Academic speak"?
  5. You seem to overlook how badly Ron, Leigh, Doreen, Russell, etc., would take this "racist" slap from the good people of the state of North Dakota. I'm certain that not everybody in Mississippi or South Carolina supports the flying of the Southern Cross, but those flags fly as a result of the states' own electoral processes. Given the fact the NC$$ is run by egg-headed academics, I seriously doubt they would take a "No" vote lying down as it would impede their agenda to remove NA imagery from schools' athletic teams, and effectively marginalize their "sanctions" in a very public fashion. Sometimes, it just helps to plant the appropriate seeds.
  6. Statewide vote = Statewide consequences, regardless of any school affiliation I've suggested as much to the NC$$.
  7. it's a conspiracy, I tells ya!!!!
  8. Well, since Soderstrom doesn't have the intellectual capacity to make a Sherman Act case that won't make a judge snicker, perhaps he can accuse the NC$$ of committing "hate crimes" or "genocide". An appeal to the UN for an international tribunal to investigate this outrage would be "logical".
  9. And even being a "monopoly" isn't necessarily illegal. These days the only real enforcers of antitrust law are in the federal government and I doubt they're going after the NC$$ anytime soon.
  10. I always get a kick out of the kids/players who leave, or in Koules' case de-commit, because of "ice time". If you're really that damn good, you earn your ice time. Nobody was born with a "guaranteed 22;30+ TOI" stamped on their ass. Well, maybe Ovechkin ...
  11. Throw a federal investigation into the mix too ... http://www.nytimes.com/reuters/2012/04/30/us/30reuters-usa-rape-montana.html?hp
  12. Too bad all of the money that's going to be spent on this campaign couldn't have been spent on UND and its students, but some people just don't really care about that. Think I'll write another check to the Association to help cover the difference.
  13. Why? I thought the bison faithful didn't think those sanctions were such a big deal. Could they have lied to us?
  14. Regardless of the merits of their case civil rights issues are big priorities with the current administration, and if the case gets any lift I wouldn't be surprised to see DOJ take another look at the issue. That may also give the NC$$ the opening it needs to look at the state's conduct in this matter and levy sanctions.
  15. That's better.
  16. I think anybody who thinks they have a "guaranteed" spot may in for serious disappointment. Everybody will need to earn their spot in the lines.
  17. Not much. Like most of the 'burbs and small towns around the state. Just like NoDak. When I lived in Minneapolis, we would always wait the "FABs" or "the Blaine train" coming into downtown Friday-Saturday nights. Fortunately, they generally went home, or ended up in the Hennepin County lockup.
  18. He's learning about "life" pretty quickly. Good luck to him wherever he goes.
  19. To each their own ...
  20. More likely Molson and/or a distributor offered up more money.
  21. I'm just happy NBC has offered up as many games as they have. And, generally, they do a good job of each game.
  22. It just shows why "drugs are bad, mmkay?"
  23. Torres gets a 25 game vacation for his shot on Hossa.
  24. Is that in the first period?
  25. I wasn't there and had to rely on a "first hand account", as well as various newspaper articles. But SL might have problems if the judge asks whether a ceremony from 1969 could be used to fulfill a condition imposed in 2007. It's too bad, really. The anti-trust facet has some serious potential, and in the hands of a lawyer better-versed in that area might actually threaten the NC$$'s position.
