BS...The sequestration was a device created by Jack Lew and the Obama administration as a way to force republicans to accept the debt ceiling raise...the bet that they would rather raise the debt ceiling than cut defense was a poorly played hand by O and Lew...Also, if you think O'care isn't going to impact the hospital's bottom line, then I have some pixie dust to sell you for a good deal. "On August 2, 2011, Congress passed the Budget Control Act (BCA), which raised the debt limit, cut $917 billion in federal spending over 10 years, and established the Joint Select Committee on Deficit Reduction (the “super committee”). The super committee was supposed to produce legislation by November 23, 2011 to further reduce spending by at least $1.5 trillion over 10 years. If the super committee failed to propose legislation reducing federal spending by the minimum amount, $1.2 trillion in automatic cuts would be divided equally between defense and various domestic spending programs. This sequestration process was intended to serve as a poison pill to force the committee to present a reasonable plan to Congress. Predictably, this less-than-super committee failed to even submit a proposal, meaning that when Congress failed to pass $1.2 trillion in cuts by the end of 2012, the automatic sequestration cuts kicked in on January 2, 2013."

Can someone tell me how you are going to pay a new football coach more that Craig Bohl is getting at NDSU...His base pay was recently moved to around $215k with a maximum of around $400-$425k with incentives...Seriously, we aren't going to be able to pay some new football coach more than Bohl and that's just the hard facts of a state sponsored institution with a maxed out budget as well.

I've taken my kids to a few games and the attendance at the Women's hockey games will surpass football pretty soon if there are no changes in leadership for the football team...

I am so pleasantly impressed with the shoot-out after one OT period for the NCHC this season...Too bad this was not part of the college game a long time ago! I am wondering what the shoot out line up is going to look like if we ever have to go past the first iteration of 3 shooters?

I guess that was what I was trying, unsuccessfully I guess, to state with my post...the team doesn't even look you in the eye and they should be helping get the crowd get worked up and let it translate into the game. I have always jumped out of the line to give a high five to the coach and have never seen him with a set of headphones on before - it was disturbing to me that he feels he needs to drown out the fans to get a better focus into the game - some people are uncomfortable with the press and the fans, but I don't think you can have this weakness and be a top coach in the FCS.

I think its an ol boxing term...when they use to fight toe to toe and take hit after hit until your opponent gave up or was knocked out....I could be wrong...

I was tailgating yesterday like every homegame and I always make sure to watch the team walk through the crowd to the stadium...Here is what I saw...Too many kids with earphones in and staring down at the ground. What does that tell you as a Sioux fan? Do these kids even want to be here and why is the team not trying to draw some intensity away from the crowd outside the stadium? I'm not asking for the team to sit down and have a beer and a brat with me, but at least show some excitement and intensity. To top it off, Coach Mussman is walking in with headphones as well...jesus, has anyone seen a prime time coach wearing headphones during a team walk into the stadium????? Gotta make a change or we will be stuck in mediocrity for a long time!

Can someone explain to me why are not throwing the ball to Galladay in the end zone...we could do jump ball throws all goddamn day and get a TD everyday....

Is anyone seeing how we r actually getting into their backfield?
