Never been to an ndsu game myself but is it true tailgating and their games are alcohol free?

I heard no. Mn prairie public only.

That may work too but how many will actually come back in? I'm pretty sure most of the students that leave early are doing so to start drinking again. They aren't leaving to start drinking. They are leaving to continue drinking. Just my observation.

I think wild fan was referring to the drinking that goes on during tailgating. It isn't a requirement that alcohol be consumed during tailgating but it happens. I don't know of too many people/students that want to have a few beers outside, then get in the alerus center to their seats and not be allowed to drink anymore. The only solution I could think of would be to ban alcohol completely from tailgating as well as the game.

I don't know about you guys and gals....but many students tailgate. Like it or not there is drinking going on during tailgating. Nd is known as one of the top binge drinking states and this happens at und sporting events where alcohol is allowed. Guess what I'm trying to say is it's no fun to tailgate and drink to just stop drinking because the game started.

Could it be another money decision?

Wow. I always thought there was more student demand than supply for the seats and that's why they put limits on freshmen getting them? Or was that only making upper bowl available to be newer students? Either way, why would student attendance drop?

Take away the bad snaps and und would have had this one:/ If bubba can fix that and the offense plays the way they did in the 2nd half and und can probably compete with any fcs team. Nice to have a strong defense.

Has anyone heard an update as to whether games will be on fcs this season? If so i gotta get signed up for directv.

I happened to be in missoula the Saturday before last and had to pick up some griz gear due to who they were playing. Might need to burn it now!

If midco wanted they could air the game on Saturday. Both Montana teams air their games locally and have a satellite feed up there.

The nfl should hold a stance and Ap's actions though to show this type of behavior is not acceptable out of a nfl athlete. Was the la clippers owner actually even charged with anything? I'm guessing the nfl and the Vikings will allow him to play though because of the mighty dollar.

Curious why it took a week to be found and reported. Is it possible the child's mother was looking to get some more money off ap? I don't' know but why did it take a week to be reported?

I don't mind the bison trolls. All of them that come here just continue to show the little man syndrome that many of their fan base has. At the same time they usually claim they don't consider und a rival and yada Yada Yada....yet they continue to come here to defend the honor of ndsu and show their little man syndrome.

You can understand why he'd use this type of discipline based on how he was raised? This doesn't make it alright. He's a wealthy man now. Maybe I shouldn't say man. A man wouldn't treat a kid this way. Just because he is a star player for the Vikings, excuses shouldn't be made for this.

Who is making things up? And how is anything that is said on this board going to prevent the tv issue from being resolved. I appreciate the information I can find on this board myself. And the hockey season is right around the corner. Many people are eager to find what their options for viewing the games are. What's wrong with that?

Has anything been officially announced with Sioux hockey being available on fcs for this season? Here's my question for you directv guys.... I live in the country in nd and have no access to high speed Internet or cable tv. Is fcs still available on directv? If so are the games in hd or sd? If I remember right directv used to use a spare channel to show Sioux games on fcs but that was prior to the Sioux games being shown in hd. I haven't had pay tv for a long time. But if it allows me to watch a number of Sioux games I may just bite the bullet with directv.

I see that medicom Springfield has the game on tv. Too bad midco couldn't work out a deal with them to get it on locally. It may be available with a Fta dish.

I like your positivity but it was said last year that root and fsn are regionAl networks. Individual schools could have gotten games on these networks as well last year. The biggest difference I see so far for this year is less nationally televised games.
