Right on jlp. I will never cheer for the wild and it's due to their fan base. Maybe minus hockey sense they are great people but I won't join them on this one. I hope that team who required everyone in that state to fund a stadium for a few to watch are done in 3 more games:)

Toews is one of the reasons I follow the hawks...so what? I don't get why non hawks fans on here can't stand the fact there are so many Sioux/hawks fans. Personally I became a huge Jonny fan when he single handedly beat team USA in the world juniors during the shootout. I can't tell you the number of friends that were upset with me for being happy that Canada won, but I've always cheered for former and current Sioux. Remember when toews first went to chicago? This was a team that was struggling to win and struggling to get fans in the seats. Toews played quite the role to turn this team from a loser to a winner. Good for him! I listened to last night's game on the radio. And what a breath of fresh air it was to listen to Troy Murray on the radio. And did you ever think that many Sioux fans just like the hawk's beautiful logo that und once used? I sure do:)

Ufc/mma would be his option.

How many names has this guy had on here? Is it bad that I've read this site for so long I have an idea of who is saying what without looking at their name?

Have any of you that are rooting on the wild ever been to a few of their games wearing Sioux gear? I have and I've experienced some nasty nasty gopher fans at the games. Even more nasty than I've personally experienced at final 5's of the past. For this reason I can never cheer for the same team as these guys. Even though we have a great former Sioux player on this team. Ill root for zach and wish him well. But will definitely be rooting for the hawks to stomp the wild.

So punish them next fall? Would be nice if Hak could put them through this right away. Why can football teams have spring practices but NCAA hockey teams can't practice togethor officially until almost the start of the season?

I don't think kvly knows it f-d up though. I know they make more money when they preempt national programming for local programming they put out with advertising dollars. Good for them. But their timing is very suspect. So they won a few national fcs titles. That supposedly makes their practice more important than a Stanley cup playoff game? So it was basketball senior night. That is more important than a key outdoor NHL game? If they are gonna be butt buddies with ndsu why don't they plan ahead and fill their infomercial hours over the weekend?

The question is why on the main NBC channel? Why not on me tv channel? And it's almost as if they are intentionally putting these on over NHL games.

I'd be interested in how many other markets did an fcs practice game get shown over the Stanley cup playoffs.

Any business that chooses to pay to support this....I will go out of my way to never give them any of my business.

Obviously kvly is as delusional as ndsu fans. A practice scrimmage at ndsu is more important in nd than a Stanley cup playoff game....hahah

From the 13-14 season. A player that is still under scholarship currently. Oh because your spring practice game was on kvly yesterday the 14-15 season has begun. That's right. I learned yesterday bison football is bigger than Stanley cup hockey in nd too. Who woulda known? Delusional

Well I will say Sean responded to my email earlier this year regarding saul's gong show post game that pre-empted one of the outdoor NHL games. I won't say if it made a difference though. But if everyone is ok with watching a practice fcs game instead of a Stanley cup playoff game so be it. Kvly is sure hyping their coverage of this practice. I hope their companies providing advertising dollars are taking notice.

It is the way kvly will spin it. The bison spring game is scheduled to be shown on kvly at 1:30 pm on Saturday. Wings/bruins was supposed to be on at 2pm. Why kvly can't put this meaningless spring game on another channel is beyond me.

Ugh this one does sting. Outplay the goofs prett much the entire game and brillInt goaltending on both ends. Gophs score and somehow und has the energy to come right back and gaarder sticks one in 32 seconds later? But that's the only one they can get by:/ Game reminded me of a clean version of our old wcha games. Smart and defensive hockey both ways and teams looked very evenly matched. Just goes to show that in the one and done's anything can happen and this one could have gone either way. With that said lets go union!

And now I understand there are folks claiming that yesterday's car theft/kidnapping news reports as racist because the accused individual was identified as being an unknown Native American man on the news last night. It appears that some are really reaching to make some noise during timeout week. This is really too bad.

I think you misunderstood what I meant to say? I don't think any sensitivity course is necessary but it sounds like it's being forced upon these girls. A term that was used in another thread is a racist term though.

That is how this supposed sensitivity training should go. I'd bet the farm that there will be an agenda pushed though.

I'd have to disagree. Misguided fans that have used racial slurs definitely did not help the cause of keeping the Sioux name.
