On wdaz they interviewed neighbors who said the smell of pot was prevalent on a regular basis at this apartment. Not trying to put anyone's name through the mud this was an absolutely terrible thing that happened but as an outsider looking in with only the info that's been put out it appears that this apartment was targeted for a reason. My guess is that the suspects are long gone from grand forks by now.

Doesn't the Red's undercurrent make swimming in it very dangerous? -

Also if you enjoy college hockey/basketball/football, have a few hundred dollars to invest, and a clear view of the south sky from ground level(at least 25 degrees to the east and west), a motorized ku band Fta system would make a great addition to your setup;) no more Sioux home games found this way but many of their away games plus many other games during the winter months. I wouldn't have it any other way. In 8 years I've saved myself well over 10 grand with only $400 invested in my equipment. -

CBS, abc-both wday and wdaz, cw, wdaz and y weather channel, fox, NBC, me tv, 4 different prairie public channels-one local nd, one world, one minnesota(good for beavers games), and another national one, and a religious channel. If you have the db4e mounted at least 2 stories up, if it's pointed right, I don't see why you couldn't get all the same channels as long as there isn't too many tall buildings near your home. Try hooking up a set of rabbit ears directly to your hd tv. With an antenna mounted up higher you will be able to get more....specifically fox and wdaz since these are the two that are VHF and tougher to get....an antenna up high will help you get these. I wouldn't count on picking up anything more though it may be possible if you can mount your antenna even higher. http://antennaweb.org Check this site out and key in 58201. You'll get an idea of where each tower is at. I'm able to pick up all the close ones with my antenna sitting on a horizontal rafter in my third story attic. Might be thirty feet up. -
I also liked mi mexico's food but that building is plagued for failure. Now Casa Mexico in egf....I'll never go back there. Not only lousy service the one time I went there but the waitress also lost someone's credit card.

Appears Fenton is meeting with CBS today. Hope he can move the chains in the right direction for the sake of tv viewership/availability. -
At least mcdonalds food has some flavor to it. Grizzlys? Eh poncho and leftys was worse. And Golden Corral....mre's have more flavor to them than corral's food did!

It was there on 32nd too. But also on 42nd first.

What a great story to overshadow their mediocre play when it counts. So they have a couple big names on their team. But those guys haven't been performing when it matters; let's go kings!

Is it a big ugly dish(c band) or a smaller one less that 3 foot diameter(ku band)? I just have a small dish but with a big dish you can get a ton of the Alaska games on a western satellite. There's still a few of us fta'ers on here that could probably help walk you through it to get some college hockey on it. Plus a ton of college basketball/football. He'd probably need a new receiver though to pick up the hd stuff.

I don't think he's been shaving haha. I thought he took an un-called high stick to the face.

None of midco's broadcasts were. But there was plenty of away games and national games available with Fta. And maybe 3-4 other college hockey games each weekend.
-
So it's not ok for him to come here and have a discussion on topic? Oh that's right you are a goof fan and they rule the college hockey world.

I wish! If only I had the funds! I can't believe there's yet to be a microbrewery to open in grand forks. There's definitely a market for one. If I only had a few million dollars laying around....I'd do it.
-
I know a thing or two. It's been a dream of mine to get a microbrew going in grand forks but I don't have the time or the money:( lets just say I spent too much of it at the target center in March;) Come fall time all oktoberfest beers are good. And any pumpkin beer you can find is always good. Happy Harry's has a little bit to choose from.

That dead guy ale from rogue makes you feel dead in the morning!

Watching NHL games makes me crave the official beer of the NHL coors light. Mmmm brewed with real water from the Rockies!

A bison game from the dome will be on espn in August? Or espn wanted the game and Taylor said no? Haha

I wish we could get some more beers in nd from out west. There's a few beers out of California brewed with hemp. Very tasty. Beer fresh from the microbrew and not bottled is always the best. I visited seattle last fall and stopped at 8 different microbreweries. If anyone gets a chance check out Elysian brewery in seattle. I swear they had 8 different beers brewed with pumpkin. Delicious! Some of the better main stream brews out there are mannys and Mack & jacks. I've requested happy Harry's bring these in to no avail tho:/

I think so too. Dang water bottle incidents. Even if the hawks pull it off tonight no way they can win two more. La is just too good. Hope I'm wrong. But I see the kings winning the cup.

You should be able to pick up 11 different channels total in grand forks. -

The db4e is the antenna I use. No amplifier needed just outside of grand forks. We have towers south, northeast, and west of us and the db4e picks all of them up from having it pointed straight up and not one direction. -

I'm just out of grand forks and I get all locals(CBS, abc, fox, NBC, and PBS) Bsu hockey can be picked up on 3 different ota channels from my place. I'm in the country and have an antenna in my attic. The higher you can get your antenna the better. But you may be able to get all channels with a set of rabbit ears. Get a UHF/VHF antenna because there is a few channels of each. Pretty much all channels are hd. Downfall is no midcosn for und sports when they play at home.
