We all believed since last spring that he would almost certainly be gone next year. Good for the program to have players signed to the big stage.

I think next year’s team, while young/new, will benefit from lower expectations. Depends on 25 and 15, of course, and a few sophs will have high expectation for themselves, but the team will feel like it’s starting new. or maybe not.

I don’t know: Michigan was awful dam good during the hula hoop era. Then, with the British Invasion, they just went away, rarely to be heard from again. They get great recruits though.

Winning is nice and all, but it deprives a person of the hot pleasure of bitching about the coaches, a handful of players, and the refs. If you don't have a dog to kick, those things are important. Besides, now we're just gonna get our azzes kicked on a bigger stage because of all those guddam same coaches, players, and refs. There's nothing good about any of this.

I don't mind at all seeing the HC being a little snarly about now. Hope the whole locker room is feeling that way. As long as it doesn't cause them to take foolish penalties.
