I punted, passed, and kicked at old Met Stadium during halftime of a Rams/Vikes game as a little boy. Was a hick from the prairie and didn't come back often, but it left a life-long impression.

Maybe that's true, but although St. Olaf and Carelton are very good colleges, I don't think they would be considered elite outside the midwest. I personally would have been happy had my kids chosen either of them.
