Possession players are uncommon, but the best teams usually have one or two--guys who can maintain the puck in the offensive zone and not only score but disrupt defenses. Doesn't have to be a Towes or Heatley. Schmaltz and Boeser were, and though he wasn't at their level, even Kristo was.
