Free Shakeys tonight with one more score. lol

Another TD drive would be nice. No need to call off the dogs.

Wish we could bottle this for the rest of the season. Still a lot of games to play but hopefully we have turned a corner.

Love it. Go to your playmaker in crunch time.

	Let's get it to 1.

Let's keep the foot on the gas.

Need to go for jugular here

Mutiple scrambles says otherwise. Pass rush is key

would make more sense to pick up the options and then look at trade possibilities. Both Kepler and Polanco are very productive at 10 million. There is also a lack of offense on the free agent market this season, so there should be trade options available even if its some bullpen arms and prospects. With Jasson Dominguez' injury, the Yankees might have interest in a year of Kepler. Don't forget that Joey Gallo's 11 million comes off the books, so there will be money for pitching. If you feel confident in Paddack, look at a short term extension, maybe 3 for 40 or something in that range. With his injury history he might take it. Lewis should be an extension candidate as well, before it's too late.

Bullpen game in an elimination game. Bold strategy Cotton.

They can definitely win this series still. Like Pablo tomorrow.

2023-24 University of North Dakota Hockey Seasonnodakvindy replied to AlphaMikeFoxtrot's topic in Men's Hockey Augie should be more than an exhibition. Would be ok with alternating them and Bemidji. At least Augie you can try to schedule around a USD or SDSU football game for a nice weekend trip. Playing an Augie exhibition in Rapid City would be a nice brand building opportunity. Mini destination game and in Midco footprint

That was fine 10 years ago. No longer an excuse. Need an infusion on new ideas and new blood into the program. Unfortunately UND"s seeming abervsion to bring in any outsiders probably prevents that.

Pull for the Astros and Angels tonight. That sets up the possibility for the Twins to grab the 2 seed if they can win out. At that point, would need Seattle to take 3 of 4 from Texas and D-Backs take 2 of 3 from Houston. That would leave Texas and the Twins tied at 89-73 with Twins holding the tiebreaker.

No it shouldn't. In European soccer, where it's prevalent it has made virtually every league top heavy with only a couple of teams that have any shot at the title. Instead the goal is simply to be in the top league. In America, it would also mean tons of cities having to build major league caliber stadiums at taxpayer expense. No thanks!

I was at the Baltimore series just before the All Star break. That was a shellacking of the highest order, so Twins are probably due to return the favor if they somehow met up with the Orioles. I'd love to see Seattle edge out the Astros, but don't think that's in the cards. Hoping to catch one of the Twins Rockies games this weekend before getting back to MN for the wild card series.

save a lot more money and easily get into compliance by following Omaha's lead and dropping football. Far more fiscally responsible choice, and that's what ND is all about.

A school putting academics first, what a concept.

If you mean UND two-sport athlete Jesse Bull, then yes. Bull knows hockey and Bull knows golf. UND missed out on doing a homage with him holding a driver while in hockey pads as an homage to the classic Bo Nike poster and 1990 Score baseball card.

	I hope they have 11.

Hopefully we will also be building some industrial base around civilian applications for these technologies as well. Defense contracting is a lucrative but fickle industry, would be great to have some economic diversification (ag drones, emergency management, etc.)

Gonzaga to the Mountain West might make some sense at that point. Would counter Hawaii's football only membership and put the conference at 14 football and 14 non-football. Gonzaga to the Big 12 never seemed legit, as they are at a far lower standing in the Olympic sports and travel would have been brutal, but Mountain West travel would be solid and the basketball league is quite good as well. I think if they moved to 16 you might see Idaho get the call, reignite rivalry with Boise as well as the Battle of the Palouse, and UTEP to at least dip a toe into the Texas recruiting grounds. Not a ton of other appealing options. Maybe New Mexico St. over Idaho since it wouldn't require a transition to FBS. If Davis or Poly were interested in moving to FBS they might be viable candidates as well. Don't see anyone else getting a serious look.

2023-24 University of North Dakota Hockey Seasonnodakvindy replied to AlphaMikeFoxtrot's topic in Men's Hockey Replace Mankato with Lindenwood and you've got something that makes sense. Mankato has seen a sizable enrollment drop, not as bad as St. Cloud, but they are not a bastion of stabilty either, and I don't see them ever going D1, so they bring very little to the table. Their recent success is a product of being the big fish in a small pond, and I'd want to see if it can withstand the coaching change before I'd think of adding them.
