Yep, I understand, but I'm hopeful that the Midco deal is a step toward NCHC.tv moving to that platform, which would save me $115 a year on that service. And again, I like the other wraparound services that Midco provides like weekly highlight shows and better support of the conference than ESPN does. And I've also had lots of mediocre broadcast quality on ESPN+ streams, while all the Midco broadcasts have been much better and more consistent. I get that they aren't every going to show Duke-UNC or other big games, but they are very good at what they do and they are actual invested in the community and in the Summit League.

Midco is paying. Not dumb. They are also local and actually care about the Summit, so will be a high priority. That isn't the case with ESPN+. More money for UND on media deal is a good thing.

Dont understand the fake FG call at all. The kicking game has been non existent and you have a chance at an easy kick to get a brand new kicker some confidence and then that is the play call. Might as well just forego any FG opportunities the rest of the season. That was a call that could maybe be supported by analytics, but the game is played by people and in that situation just seems pretty strange.

Unfortunately 1979 is among them. And coincidentally Minnesota has lost as many title games as UND has won.

The key will be getting synergy between Midco and NCHC.tv, getting that all under one umbrella would be nice. Hopefully that is coming. It would also be nice if CBS Sports games were available on Paramount Plus. Not sure why they aren't. Some are available on the CBS Sports HQ app on Roku, but it's a total crapshoot on which ones.
